Simple, straightforward, and enjoyable. You don't generally have to care about individual orcs, so unfocus your eyes and watch where the green tides flow. At present, I'd recommend getting it on sale, but we're hearing rumblings of new content. Just be careful in choosing your technologies. Some of them are gated by special resources that you get for perfect victories, and there's currently no refund. The grenade launchers and flame throwers offer helpful debuffs, so don't miss out on them!
Tower defense = gordo feliz
Playing this game is like using a broom. Easy to learn, difficult to master... But damn fun the whole time.
If only there were a middle option for recommending. By the end of the game the level design is just bad. It is, we go from caverns and a peggle board to cubes and its just uninspired. The orcs 'flow' like liquid as others have pointed out but without some sort of blocker/barricade to guide the flow of the orcs it feels like you have far less control over things then you *should*. You quickly run out of things to spend money on, which is funny for such a grindy game, for an incremental it could have used some money dump, just flat firerate or dmg upgrades. Theres no fast forward or 2,3 x speed either so the grind is tedious and you can only watch orcs fall to the same level over and over again before you just get bored. BUT before this point of the game, when your guiding orcs through caverns and creating strategic chokeholds out of the natural terrain and unlocking upgrades? Its quite good.
PEAK GAME i 100% ts in one sitting, was it healthy, no, was it fun? hell yea! 10/10 would recomend!
holy grind for damage upgrades tower placement barely matters
Short, no higher dificulty. But fun for the 10 hours or so it took me to complete it.
