Singularity™

Buen juego, visualmente no ha envejecido tan bien como cabe esperar, tiene esa típica estética de Unreal Engine 3 pre 2011, es decir, no tiene la iluminación Lightmass. Aún así el gameplay es súper entretenido, no es un inmersive sim o algo así, pero tiene cierto nivel de profundidad a través de herramientas que vuelven el juego dinámico, entretenido y que trae cosas nuevas cada cierto rato. La historia no es ultra complejo pero tiene plot twist muy ingeniosos, y que te darán cierta sorpresa. Es como decirle a los escritores "Mh, bien pensado". Insisto, es una experiencia vale bastante la pena, especialmente si lo encuentras en oferta, lástima que los finales del juego sean tan abiertos, hubiese sido genial ver una secuela. El último gran clásico de Raven Software antes de dedicarse de lleno a colaborar en los Call of Duty.

Man merkt dem Spiel sein Alter auf jeden Fall an. Storymäßig kenne ich es auch von alten YouTube Let's Plays. Die Steuerung ist in Ordnung. Es nervt mich, dass bei mir die Texturen so gar nicht laden und alles schlimmer aussieht, als es damals wirklich war.

Tremenda joya infravalorada que mezcla lo mejor de BioShock y Half-Life con una mecánica de manipulación temporal que se siente increíble incluso hoy. Gracias al youtuber Daniboube, descubrí esta joya de ambientación soviética con un ritmo frenético y poderes que hacen que cada combate sea único. Es una lástima que Activision lo dejara en el olvido sin una secuela, porque su propuesta de ciencia ficción merecía muchísimo más.

Just a solid, serviceable FPS from that very Half Life 2 inspired era of shooters; short, linear, with plenty of big 'set-pieces'. It's not nearly a perfect game, and there are some pain points, especially in regards to just how almost comically linear it is (if you walk through a set of blue doors, 9 times out of 10 those doors will close the second you step through them and cut off any backtracking). But in an era where the genre is so overrun with battle-royale and live service games, Singularity scratches a certain itch for me.

it's a shame how this game didnt get the time and energy it deserved, yet still came out competent in the end. So much potential was wasted hope one day it gets remade or remastered but that's really unlikely :(

Ну это классика жанра. Та самая игра с управлением временем. Советую однозначно и я рад, что эта игра есть в стиме. Жаль, что нет достижений, но не суть, сюжет прекрасен, управление кайф, система прокачки оружия и персонажа даже есть, прикиньте. Монстры, большие боссы, люди - месите всех на своем пути. Кайф, что есть разнообразие врагов. Игра очень динамичная, не стоит на месте. Духоты нет. Каждому к прохождению!
