About
SimplePlanes 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the original aircraft-building classic, featuring new parts, shiny new graphics, chaotic multiplayer, new physics, and more!

Build planes using enhanced wing and fuselage parts. It's easier than ever to build the plane of your dreams! Reshape the airfoil of your wings using real NACA profiles with overhauled flight physics, or use improved fuselage editing to create an endless variety of shapes. Then grab your input device of choice (mouse/keyboard, controller, and HOTAS are all supported) and fly!

Build anything else you can imagine using a host of new parts. With the new suite of procedural powertrain parts, you can build cars, propeller aircraft, forklifts, and so much more, with detailed physics. If you're overwhelmed by the idea of building something from scratch, there are tons of stock crafts available from the start that you can load, tune, and reverse engineer, with an extra 40+ hidden around the map waiting to be discovered!

Make your crafts your own with paint texturing and engine tuning. Once you've put your craft together, you can use the improved paint tool to give it colour and texture. Then when that's done, you can get into the nitty gritty with engine customization, tweaking the size, cylinder count, transmission, and more to get your craft running exactly the way you want it.

Craft procedural missiles and blow your enemies to smithereens. SimplePlanes 2 features a brand new procedural missile part that gives you a blank canvas to create the perfect weapon. Change the size, the guidance type, give it as many visual details as you want, and more! Then you can watch it turn your target into a fireball with the new volumetric explosions!

Take your new creation through beautiful environments packed with detail. The new SimplePlanes Archipelago is a lovingly crafted world covered in trees, roads, rivers, airports, and even a race track. Explore 787 square kilometers of detailed terrain above and below the water, drive through 330 kilometers of roads, explore Vetusta City, or take to the seas with new water graphics and physics.

Cause chaos in a variety of activities in multiplayer, or just hang out. With multiplayer, you can play with up to nine other players (or even more in a private lobby) and finally test your crafts on something other than bots. Race each other, kill each other, co-operate with each other, and more! And with our new playable mascot, Major Chad, you can get out and stretch your legs with other players as well!

Download 1,000,000+ crafts made by the community for free, even from SimplePlanes 1. SimplePlanes 2 features backwards compatibility with crafts made in the original SimplePlanes, meaning over a decade of history is seamlessly playable just as it was before. Please note that while we've made an effort to support these old crafts as well as possible, we still can't guarantee that all of them will behave the way they were originally supposed to.

I would recommend this game but the only reason I refunded it was because of its price. If SP2 was 12 dollars/euros I would highly recommend it.
what a good game it is!hope there will be more good games like this

A perfect upgrade from SimplePlanes 1
you have to be creative and it ran well with my computer
If you enjoy building planes in games such as Aviassembly, Kerbal Space Program, or other similar titles, You'll absolutely love this game. The amount of procedural parts, XML coding, and the endless pools of creative power at your finger tips is nothing short of incredible, especially considering SP2 gets regular updates that add new major features. Any time I load this game up, it's easy to accidentally spend hours creating planes, tanks, and cars, then exploring around the map. But you don't have to explore the map alone. The online community and servers in my experience have been full of friendly wholesome individuals that share and talk about their creations, whether it be 1:1 replicas of a F22 Raptor, a Tu-95 Bear, or a C6 Corvette. This game is definitely in the top 3 best game purchases I've made this year and I would strongly recommend giving this game a purchase, You won't regret it!

it is onne off the greates gvames of all time but one thing bothers me... A LOT. when i join a server in an explosive plane and someone kills me on teakoff, i am gone explode and if the server bans nukes or greafing i am going to kill 10 other peiople taking off and that gets me banned most of the time wich is annoying so it would be good if there was some kind of a report system not only for the name but for unneceseraky banns or otehr stuff.
