Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 24 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hell no I don't recommend this Wish the new pinball/forest biome had been in the demo, or that I'd hit it before reaching 2 hours in the full game. Would never have even considered paying money for this ♥♥♥♥ Wasn't bad in the open desert, but as soon as you add trees, constantly shifting elevation, and much more and much harder turns into the road, the whole things turns from driving into pinball. Not in a fun way. In an incredibly frustrating "WTF?!?!" kinda way. The slightest dip in the road and you're airborne, so there's no turning away from all those trees, especially not once the road takes a sudden 90 degree turn... and don't even bother trying to slow down, the brakes are all but non-existent (not that they'd help you out any while you're getting launched around the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forest yet again)
Nightmare Drive scratches the itch TLD left behind, and I'm excited to see where it goes. The gameplay loop is already satisfying. Prefer this over DBH. I'll add a somewhat separate opinion here, too. I understand leaving negative reviews on Early Access games that are effortless money-grabs. I don't understand leaving negative reviews on Early Access indie games where the developer consistently shows they care about feedback, makes constant improvements, and clearly enjoys the game they're making. In my opinion, buy this while it's still cheap. There's a great game in the making here.
Very unoptimized and buggy mess. Multiple UI and progress issues with multiplayer. Fun concept, but extremely poor technical execution.
Pretty stable for the most part and dev seems to interact a lot in the discord. Otherwise it's fun mowing down zombies and slapping neon lights on everything they'll stick to while hunting down car parts. I'm still confused why adult diapers are a food item though.
Overall, I think Nightmare Drive is already in a good state for a beta, and the game definitely has potential. There are still several areas that could be improved before I would personally consider it ready for Early Access. What I Liked Multiplayer feels smooth, which is a really good sign, especially for a multiplayer-focused game. The character animations are good for the current beta stage. They work well enough as a standard foundation, although there is still a lot of room for improvement and polish. The scavenging and vehicle-part system is actually one of the more fun parts of the gameplay. Finding random parts while exploring and being able to attach them to the vehicle is a really good concept. It gives scavenging a purpose beyond simply collecting resources. However, right now there just aren't enough different parts to make that system feel as exciting as it could be. I think it would be much better if there were common, uncommon, rare, or even very rare parts that players could discover while scavenging. Some parts could have unique appearances, different stats, special functions, or even disadvantages that make players decide whether they're actually worth installing. There should also be more visual customization. Different bumpers, improvised armor, lights, storage, wheels, exhausts, decorations, reinforced windows, roof attachments, and other random scavenged objects would make the vehicle feel more personal. It would be cool if, after playing for several hours, everyone's vehicle started looking noticeably different depending on what they managed to find. Rare parts would also give players another reason to explore dangerous or unusual locations instead of scavenging only because they need basic materials. Finding something genuinely uncommon should feel exciting, like "Oh damn, I actually found this!" That kind of discovery could make scavenging one of the strongest gameplay loops in the game. Things That Could Be Improved Gun sounds are quite painful/sharp to listen to. Even the weapon-switching sounds can be uncomfortable. The audio could use some balancing and refinement. The pee shortcut/key is too far away and feels inconvenient during gameplay. A more accessible default keybind would be better. Guns don't have a crosshair, which feels strange for the current shooting mechanics. Some form of aiming indicator would make gunplay feel much more natural. Survival isn't challenging enough yet. I don't really feel enough pressure or danger while trying to survive. Increasing the difficulty, threats, resource pressure, or consequences could make the survival aspect much more engaging. The game currently doesn't have enough activities or things to do for me to consider it ready for Early Access. The core is there, but the gameplay needs more content, objectives, interactions, or reasons to keep playing. Overall Nightmare Drive has potential, and I think it's already good for where it currently is as a beta. However, in its current state, I don't enjoy the gameplay enough yet to see myself playing it for long periods. The biggest issue for me is the lack of activities and challenge in the survival gameplay. The scavenging and vehicle customization system in particular has a lot of potential. If there are enough parts, meaningful rarity, unique discoveries, and more ways to personalize the vehicle, I can see that becoming one of the things that keeps players exploring and playing for much longer. I'm still looking forward to seeing how the game develops and what the future updates bring!
This game is really fun. It's in really early EA right now so expect all the jank that comes with that... but it has the start of something really great! The DEVS are active and continue to make the game better. I can't wait for them to add more things to the game. Just so you have an idea of what kind of guys the Devs are; they made an Arcade in the game with every arcade being playable with its own game... to me it shows the dedication and passion they have for their project. I'm very excited about what the future of this game. It's a great Multiplayer Co-Op to play with your friends. I highly recommend it if you have some friends to play with. The game was cheap so I spent $20 for me and my buddy and we're having a great time. I play some of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6a7qJUqQRE
