I cannot tell you how much I genuinely crave to play another game that gave me the same feeling just like this one. I loved every inch of it, and miss experiencing it for the first time. I always struggle to finish games to my satisfaction, but this felt like a breeze and I enjoyed every second of it.
One of the games where you are a silly little creature doing silly little tasks to complete your quest (reminded me of TOEM and A Short Hike). If you like the sound of that, I highly recommend getting it, but only when it's on sale, because the original price is a tad too much for what you are getting in the end, which is more of a kids' game, but it's really enjoyable nonetheless. What I liked the most ✔︎ first off, the music is phenomenal, and it's even better paired with the visuals. I rarely come back to game soundtracks, but this is going to be one of the exceptions; ✔︎ the levels are not just adorable and pretty, but easy to navigate, and I never got stuck or was confused about what I was supposed to do; ✔︎ all types of collectibles are pretty visible and not obnoxious to get, and you don't have to follow a guide to find out that there was something in a random dark corner somewhere, which is nice; ✔︎ I cannot resist cute silly creatures, so running around as a cute mushroom was bringing me unmeasurable joy; ✔︎ loved the fun mushroom facts; ✔︎ the story is there, but do not expect anything more than be kind, be brave and be positive, which for me was heartwarming enough to not think about it negatively. 100% - if you are like me, and you just have to sniff every bit off the map, then getting all the achievements is not going to be a problem. Even if you miss anything, you can keep playing in the end and get everything you missed.

After 100% completion, I can say I really enjoyed this game. Its cozy, but also has some challenging bits at times. A very cute story with wholesome dialogue. Its a great game to relax & unwind to, and you can clearly see how much love was put into this game. I absolutely love the art style + music too!!! The only complaint I have is that I wish there was more. I love the entire vibe of this game, and was able to 100% it in about 6 hours.. but I would've loved to play it for even longer. Definitely recommend.
absolutely adorable little puzzle platformer. every single character is super charming and new tools are a joy to unlock. i usually am not much of a completionist in games, but this might be one of the first ones i decide to 100%, because i just beat the entire game + dlc and i'm still not ready to say goodbye to it. it's a short little adventure that is really good for casual or cozy gamers. i can struggle to play really intense games so i really appreciate that even an easier game like smushi has accessibility options for harder sections! i feel so attached to all the little creatures in this game, and the epilogue scene behind the secret door made me a little emotional ngl. absolute props to the devs, this is a fantastic game. easy 9/10, only with a point taken off because controller support was middling and i had a lot of difficulty with configuring it, ended up having to use a combination of keyboard and controller for most areas. it wasn't nearly enough to make playing the game unpleasant though, and i loved every part of it!!! smushi forever!!!!

Quite a lovely and mostly relaxing game. The platforming isn't difficult, it just stresses me out. I'm afraid of heights. But really, it's very cute, funny, wholesome, and a joy to play. Exploring the forest(s) and finding little things hidden everywhere is fun and engaging, plus you get to talk to all sorts of little critters and help them out. Took me just under 6 hours to finish and get all the achievements; on the one hand, I wouldn't mind playing a bit more, but on the other hand it was just long enough. Also really good hats!
JUST GET IT! Super cozy adorable fun mushyroom game, cutesy stories, fun gameplay and abilities, cosmetic collecting is my fav part. I loved this adorable game!!!!
Very cute and cozy, silly dialogue, straightforward and simple puzzles. The music and art style make great ambiance, and I felt immersed even with such a short game. Would buy again :)
This game has been on my wish list since it came out. If my memory is correct I saw the creator advertising it in a reddit post and it looked amazing. I have been hesitant to buy it because the price point seemed a little high so I put it off. I finally bought it on sale and having just 100% it in one sitting, I deeply regret the $7.99 I spent on it. The game is easily worth full price. It's a very special game and you can tell that it had a lot of love put into it. Also the free DLC adding a whole new section is a very classy move. Buy the game!
