This is the greatest game ever I cried
Really fun and cozy game. 100% it. The idea is creative and cute. Nice music.
This game has been on my wish list since it came out. If my memory is correct I saw the creator advertising it in a reddit post and it looked amazing. I have been hesitant to buy it because the price point seemed a little high so I put it off. I finally bought it on sale and having just 100% it in one sitting, I deeply regret the $7.99 I spent on it. The game is easily worth full price. It's a very special game and you can tell that it had a lot of love put into it. Also the free DLC adding a whole new section is a very classy move. Buy the game!

What an adorable game! You know, I don't eat mushrooms, but I love the idea of playing as a cute little sentient mushroom who must find his way back home. That's all there is to the story but there are plenty of funny NPCs and overall a cozy atmosphere that make this game great. There's also a hidden moral I found within this game that I thought was deeply touchiing: "Never stop exploring and growing." I felt like Smushi's journey led him to stop living a sheltered life and that's deep. Also kudos to the dev for adding a free update with post-game content to play. This game may look simple to some but it's a very cute game that makes us appreciate the beauty of nature and the fact that there are so many different types of mushrooms!
Had fun with this game! The camera can be kinda annoying and it takes some times getting used to. The display can be a bit funky adjusting to 21:9 sometimes when starting the game and alt-tabbing, buuut everything else about the game was pretty good! Nothing really blew my mind, but even the dialogue and writing were pretty good. It didn't make cry or make me emotional and the gameplay wasn't incredibly fun but just fun, so I won't be giving this a 5. My rating: [b]4/5[b]

An immensely cute and aesthetically pleasing game. It teaches you about mushroom, progresses with a slow, relaxing pace. A perfect Sunday morning treat. Thank you developers for putting so much love and work into this masterpiece!
