Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

You need to use a patch. Because this game originally for Playstation2. And konami didnt fix controls. Otherwise you cannot play this in pc. You can use Unknownproject's Lair.- Reverse engineering stuff. [https://unknownproject.github.io/silent_hill.html ] After this patches you can play it. Its a good game.

9 on sale6 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 6 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 9 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

well, what can you really expect from such an old game i guess? i don't even think that i got out of the tutorial before i quit because if i minimize the game, it ALWAYS crashes when i boot it back up. this is especially bad because iv been trying to stream silent hill games to my cousin over discord while we hang out. maybe ill try this again if they ever fix this but i doubt that they will.
Firstly, I would like to say that I don’t believe in objectivity when it comes to art. No piece of media is “objectively bad” in my opinion, there is always someone who will appreciate something that could be considered bad or poorly made. That being said, I despise this video game. For me 'Silent Hill: Homecoming' fundamentally misunderstands everything that made the original Silent Hill special while spitting on the face of Silent Hill 2 and the direction that it tried to take the franchise. For me, this is not a Silent Hill game. It lacks the skeleton of the gameplay, the atmosphere and quality of the originals' level design, and the well crafted story and themes of the classics (not to say how less subtle everything is, I swear Alex broke my immersion by how much on your face his dialogues are when inspecting his house). Not everything in this game sucks, I would argue that sometimes it introduces a nice element or theme to the narrative, and levels like the Otherworld version of the Shepherd House are pretty good actually. Some puzzles are okay, I guess, but I barely really had to do any mental effort for like 90% of the game. This doesn’t feel like a main entry in the franchise, but rather a tie-in game inspired by the movie (now that I think about it, this would explain the bad quality of the overall product). For me, every enemy design sucks and it’s purely there for shock value, this game has a fricking boss designed like the “Human Centipede”! They don’t fit in with the rest of the classic's roster of enemies and the bosses feel like they came from a different type of game altogether (like the doll boss that looks directly cut from a horror version of Dark Souls). This game is also really raw and brutal in ways that take away the surrealist and otherworldly vibe of Silent Hill. It feels like it took more inspiration from Saw or Hostel than from Silent Hill, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth everytime I see it. Also, most NPCs' feels so forced to the point of even ruining the actual good ones. The highlights for me were the moments with your parents and Deputy Wheeler (the absolute GOAT). In the end, I hate this game and think it’s a miserable experience that goes against everything that made me love Silent Hill. The steam port is also an absolute broken mess, but my experience playing on the PS3 was pretty buggy as well… the only difference is that it was just playable and beatable, the same almost can’t be said for the steam version. I’d recommend you to stay miles away from this game and play the better titles instead. But if you do play it and actually enjoy it, good for you. As I said, I can see value in some aspects of the game and I don’t think this is an objectively bad piece of media, but I do consider it to be bad and poorly made in my personal opinion. I hate it and I can’t stand it. That's it.
Yeah i am sorry but this is one of those games you just gotta watch a summary on YouTube. Think of one godamn awful PC port, the game is literally unplayable most of the time and heavily relies on community mods in order to work. But even with the mods installed the game will still crash, making you lose all of your progress if you didn't reach a save point. If i read the reviews i probably wouldn't have wasted 7 BRL on this, atleast it was on sale but it's not worth buying. The game sacrifices it's horror aspect for a combat that it's not even that good to be honest, some enemies are awful to fight with, not even the bosses are that annoying. Now, i wish i could talk more about this game if one of the crashes didn't delete my whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ progress, i was on the 2nd boss fight, the giant doll thing, but even if i try to reach it again my game will keep crashing and honestly, i am tired of getting stressed because of this laggy game, and it's sad saying this because even with all the cons i was still enjoying the game, but i've had enough. If you want to play it then PLEASE PIRATE THIS GAME, I AM WARNING YOU!!!
Welcome home, wannabe soldier.
Whilst being not a very accepted title in the SH community (alongside Silent Hill: Downpour maybe, but it didn't escape the clutches of consoles, sadly) Silent Hill: Homecoming was a somewhat pleasant journey to me, as I strive for more entries in the SH franchise (except Silent Hill: Book of Memoires on PlayStation Vita, which is certified poopoo). The PC port of this game was released in a horrible state (and still is), and to even play a Steam version of the game, you'll have to install Silent Patch by UnknownProject (he did God's work to make this game playable for all of us). But I did enjoy the overall atmosphere of the game and even the notorious combat mechanic. Akira Yamaoka once again made very enjoyable music for this title (Elle and Alex themes are great, and Terminal Show is still sometimes on repeat in my playlist). Storywise, it's okay, I guess. Even with SilentPatch, expect the game to crash sometimes, and God knows why it may or may not do that, so save as often as possible.
If you want to experience Silent Hill, I would advise you to search for the original four entries first. Only if you are willing to fiddle with the game and want another SH experience would I recommend this title.
The game crashes during loading times and the sound is poorly mixed. I can't hear the characters speaking because of the sound effects and the music
