About
shapez is a low-stakes factory building game all about the automation of shapes production. Extract basic shapes with miners, cut them into segments and combine them into brand-new, unique shapes. Stack multiple layers of different shapes on top of each other & deliver them to the HUB to advance!
As you progress, new buildings are unlocked and the required shapes become more complex. Extract paint and use them to color your shapes. Spread out across the infinite sandbox to acquire different shapes and increase your production.
Leverage copy-paste tools to massively expand your factory as demand increases and shapes get more complex. Mix paint to create new colors, stack many layers of shapes and increase throughput as necessary. After all, it’s not an idle game!
Get creative with optional wiring & logic to optimize your factory to your liking and maybe even make a powerful machine that can make every shape possible.
With no enemies, timers or resource limits to worry about, shapez is a game that allows you to take on factory building at your own pace while progressively tackling more complex levels, if you’re looking for a challenge.

Genuinely an amazing factory game with tons of community. Be warned to not play in excess. I dreamt of shapez even in my sleep after first buying this game. I love it. Better than Shapez 2, IMO.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

本质是挂机建造游戏,但是没有撤回。 挺长脑子的,堆叠染色区块规划,尤其是没有撤回。 看着建筑完的流畅运行的产业线,带着成就感挂机,但是没有撤回。
Bad colorblind mode. It is next to useless and does nothing to actually make it easier to differentiate colors. I actually could not find what it did at all until I looked it up online. It is completely useless, it puts text descriptors in difficult to find areas when hovering over a colored thing. A proper implementation of this would be to put a specific shape or texture over colored things, like vertical lines for green, concentric circles for red, etc. If you are colorblind skip this game.
pretty cool game if you participated in MKUltra and/or were Helen Keller
This is undoubtedly a good game, the music fits, the gameplay loop is engaging, performance looks good, and the difficulty curve seems well paced, but im giving it a negative review due to how ass the game feels to play, mostly when it comes to controls, while the game has rebindable keys, many things that should be bindable simply arent, zooming out breaks your belt planning, and the blueprint system. The blueprint system is by far the worst offender to my experience with this game, having to wait until lvl 12 to unlock it was tolerable, but needing to spend resources to use a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ copy and paste function in a game where buildings have no cost other than your time is asinine. The game has no time pressure, there is no benefit to being faster other saving your time in this earth, so i dont even care if the cost becomes a rounding error going into the mid to late game, having a cost for copy and pasting does nothing but disencourage the player from experimenting with their factory design, it is antithetical to the genre. Its worth noting that this game has modding support, and all of my problems are solvable through modding, but it doesnt excuse the developer's decisions.
Amazing, it so fun to build up your factory and get more and more efficient knowing how to build better the further you go. A little frustrating to redo already built parts but still fun. overall a fun time loved making a huge factory. despite how bad how PC is it still runs smoothly with high settings.
It's like Factorio with none of the grind or stress. Honestly, I've enjoyed it a lot more for that reason. Blueprint designing is super zen for me, just vibing with the OST while I think of new ways to route belts.
Shapez es como un examen de trigonometria donde te vigila Julio profe vuelto hombre lobo con música lo-fi de fondo
It’s like abstract Factorio. Despite being the game’s whole “thing” I think this game would be much more engaging with different theming. The core mechanics are all great but it just loses a little salt when all of the products are shapes that may as well have been randomly generated.
