Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I have to say that, so far, the game has been a better experience form me than Medieval Dynasty. Both still need to grow in the direction of a world that feels more alive, is more optimized, has more customization, and deeper gameplay. If you're undecided, buy it whenever it is on sale. I did not regret it :)

Great game, I'm having a blast with it. When you can get it on a sale it's a pretty good deal in my opinion. You basically play a (16th century?) japanese character who is stranded in region without a ruler (a peasant uprising occured) and you strive to establish order again by pacifying the various sub-regions. For that you build one or more villages and complete special tasks for each sub-region. Usually rebuilding infrastructure and defeating the local bandits. The map is big and allows for a lot of freedom as to where you want to build your (up to four) village(s). You don't have to be right next to a mine location for example. That's just a little bit for extra convenience for the player. Villagers will collect regional resources regardless of where you build. That alone is awesome. Height differences are covered quite well by the building system. It's still preferable to find flat ground though. There are a lot of options when it comes to building the village (crafting stations as well as decorations) and the villagers behave the way they should. No unpleasant surprises so far. You can also take your time and just explore if you like. It's actually not a bad idea to level up the main character's combat skills and sell hunting trophies for a while. Great for unlocking village stuff later on and you get to scout for ideal village locations as well as the NPC places (for fast travel, trade and quests). But you must be done before winter lest you want to freeze to death or spend time on the warm archipelago during that season. I also like how the japanese background (story, items, style, music) is being portrayed in the game. No idea how authentic it is or how a japanese person feels about this but I like it a lot. It is well-presented. My only complaint would be that gameplay is very focused on bullding villages. There isn't much to do in the few NPC villages unless you follow the main quest line (and it has several village development bottleneck quests). The archipelago area is also severely lacking friendly locals. It feels like one big building zone without a soul. The tropical climate is a nice change of atmosphere but the whole area is simply too empty for my taste. Oh, and I almost forgot: combat is great too. Maybe a bit too easy but it's fluid, fun and has many facets (charge attacks, dodge, parry, perfect block, various weapons, etc.).
I have been with this game from the start. Its very beautiful and has a lot of elements of medieval dynasty. It still comes up with a few bugs when new things come out, but the devs usually work pretty hard to get them fixed. Ive played many playthroughs and have done a lot in this game. They keep adding new stuff so you can always go back and add it to your world. I cant wait to see what else they put into the game.
Subject: Feedback: Request for Face Texture Improvements and Contouring I have been following Sengoku Dynasty through various YouTube videos, but to be honest, I find it extremely difficult to bring myself to play the game because the characters look unattractive. I believe these issues can be addressed effectively through texture-level optimizations without requiring fundamental modeling changes: Smoother Blending for T-zone and Jawline: The T-zone highlights currently appear too distinct, creating a mask-like effect, and the jawline border looks unnaturally sharp. Adjusting the texture blending and shadow map intensity would allow for a more natural and realistic skin transition. Refining Eyelid Creases and Eye Shading: The current eyelid creases are too thick and flat, making the eyes appear dull. Adding refined eyeliner textures and subtle shading while thinning the crease lines would achieve a much more vivid and defined eye appearance. Defining the Nose: The nose currently appears broad and lacks definition. To refine the shape, apply subtle contouring along the sides to narrow the appearance, and add a thin, precise highlight down the center of the bridge and tip to create an illusion of increased elevation and sharpness. you can make it look much more defined and three-dimensional without needing to change the base 3D model. These suggestions focus on texture-level optimizations, which offer a high return on quality for a relatively efficient development effort. I believe these visual enhancements would improve the player experience and make the game much more appealing. Thank you for considering this feedback.
good
It's a fun game albeit a little bare bones. I wish the devs would expand on the buildable structures to let us build proper sengoku period castle towns. More settlement customisation options would also be great, like choosing your villagers' clothes. If you really like the sengoku period and colony sims, you might enjoy this game.
Very good village building game
