Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

I'm the solo developer of Seeds of Calamity. I grew up playing Nintendo games and later fell in love with farming sims. I wanted to make the kind of game I'd love to play myself, blending cozy farming sim gameplay with dungeon crawling and turn-based combat. I hope it's something you'll enjoy!
In a quiet wayside village you’d pass by in a classic JRPG – you and your fluffy Spellbook Companion tend your farm, help the community, and explore dungeons filled with challenge and treasure.

Twenty years after the Great Calamity, the land is finally recovering. As a young adventurer, you’ll leave the bustling capital to settle in a quiet village on the frontier. Here, you’ll build a cozy farm, help your neighbors, and uncover the small joys of life in a world healing from its past.
Tend crops, raise animals, and craft tools to grow your farm through the seasons! Help rebuild by sending resources to the capital and supporting your community. Celebrate the post-Calamity world with festivals, from harvest feasts to moonlit gatherings.

Beyond the village, dungeons filled with enemies, bosses, and valuable resources become a key part of your journey. Turn-based combat feeds directly into your progression, unlocking new upgrades, systems, and ways to develop your farm.

The Spellbook Companion is your constant ally, guiding you through your journey. This magical friend helps you uncover hidden treasures, catalog recipes and quests, and even casts spells in battle. It’s more than a companion – it’s an essential part of your adventure.

Seeds of Calamity is designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring extensive accessibility options. Adjust controls, length of day, colors, difficulty, visuals, and more to ensure the game feels right for you.
Step into a world rebuilding from its past, one crop, friendship, and adventure at a time!

I like the game but there could be some improvements to the game play. You need so much stuff for crafting and quests that there's not really much to sell to make money. Money is ALL that is needed to upgrade everything. Would also love it if there was a button to move like objects in to the chest and a way to only take out a select number from the chest. It's either take half or take all.
I really like the companion in this game and I like that there dungeon is not just a "hit 'em and run" kind of dungeon- it does require strategy. I have not progressed super far into the game since playing the beta, and I like where this one is going. It is certainly worth your time checking out. There are some nice QOL adjustments that have been made in this and the developer is very proactive in fixing bugs and glitches.

great little game, only problem is 1. u can only hold 3 quests at a time, also lets say a character has 3 quests o ahnd into the same npc, u cant choose which quest to hand in? u can only do 1 at a time. i had 3 quests all for erik, couldnt complete the last 2 till i completed his 1st 1.
非常不推荐,bug非常多,可玩内容非常少。
The first ~45h were awesome playtime - but getting to 100% took quite some boring grinding time
I downloaded this because I enjoy pixel games like Stardew or Fields of Mistria. I'm only mid summer year 1, but the game is similar to Stardew with a few quality of life improvements. The fishing game is easy (and you can make it easier). The dungeons are different in that it is turn based combat, but you can also choose which door to go in. Sometimes it's not combat but bug "catching" or fishing, or a puzzle to solve. I've been able to beat the first 2 of 3 dungeon levels fairly easily. Tools don't have durability. You can regenerate energy by sitting in a chair. There is a shrine to make offerings (like Stardew's community center). A few areas to explore. A quarry. A smaller town with less NPCs and so far their stories don't seem very deep, but that's ok. I am finding it a little grindy. It's hard to earn money early game because fish are pretty much worthless. You're really having to focus on solving the bug catching riddles and growing crops to make any money. Or mining gems over and over. There's just not enough to "do" so far. But I can tell that a lot of heart went into creating the game from the developer. They really tried to make it enjoyable to play. You can also make the day longer (up to 4x, though 2x is enough for me, I usually end up in bed early). It feels like a less chaotic/stressful version of Stardew. And you have a cat companion with you. I really, REALLY wish there was a solid wiki for it though. Only some of the pages are completed, so there's a lot of things I am unsure if I should be hanging onto for late game or selling to make what money I can. (Which again, is a struggle early on).
It's a cute little game that I find very few issues with other than it doesn't expect you to make it through all of the main dungeon in one day so even the fully upgraded inventory doesn't have enough space if you take energy and health items with, and I can't date anyone. Other than that I absolutely love this game even though turn based combat games usually aren't my thing.
It's simple, relaxing and got the core loop for one of these games done. The setting is the interesting part. That have the seeds of something different.
