Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Id been looking for this game for ages and finally happened across it on a steam sale and so glad I did! played roughly 3 1/2 hours in one sitting so far and the only reason I'm stopping is cause I've gotta go shovel snow otherwise I'll be back to finish the campaign once I'm done out in the cold. It crosses off so many boxes for me tower defence, fps, real time strategy and they all blend really nicely together and surprisingly it holds up nicely for being a game from 2015ish? (not sure) Side note is you can certainly feel elements of their later hit game satisfactory throughout, not a bad thing, just realized I'm more of a coffee stain studio fan than I ever thought Id be!

Cool combo tower defense/shooter hybrid. Played on steam deck and once out of the menu it ran super smooth, even with tons of explosions wnd enemies on screen (menu seems limited to 30 fps but the game is full 60 fps). Liked being able to set up a strategy but also get involved with the shooting. Shooting wasn't super complex but was fun and satisfying. Only negative is some levels that seems balanced for multiplayer, I'd like more difficulty options so I don't need coop for a couple levels here and there. Overall great game.
I've played many more hours across multiple accounts and can say this game is a certified classic. Smooth, easy to jump into, and always a challenge . Unfortunately the player base is toxic, (think rust!) and will relentlessly delete your towers/guns and join every game you place online. So it's a fantastic co-op/Single player but suffers from a trash player base.
I recommend it, but it's a close call. The graphics and visual design are fantastic. Good music too. It's also awesome that there are characters with some voice acting and a story presented via great looking comics. Extra setup customization via perks is a neat addition too. Overall definitely an improvement over the first sanctum game in virtually every way. However, I have 2 main complaints. The first is that the FPS part of gameplay gets mind numbingly boring after a while. It's so repetitive. You're endlessly shooting the same monsters with the same weapons in the same way. This is a fundamental flaw of the TD-FPS hybrid genre, so I don't think much could have been done about it, but man does it get annoying. The second complaint I have is that difficulty is all over the place. Some maps are super easy, some insanely hard. This is a shame. The game is at its best when the level of challenge is just right and even provides the player with a mechanic to customize this (feats of strength), but none of that matters if difficulty swings so wildly between maps that you never have any idea how hard the next map is going to be. Overall, I'm glad I gave this game another chance. But I'm also glad that I finished the campaign now, and that after a little achievement hunting I can finally quit. It's been enough.
maybe was good like 20 years ago... but not these days.
Good hybrid of tower defense and FPS. It also features mazing, which is a key element of tower defense games, that I was scared was going to be removed in this game to keep things simple. Being a tower defense, it innately has decent replay-ability. It is fun to try all available characters too. Your character feels strong, but you definitely need the towers too.
Quite boring expirience. Dungeon Defenders offers way better map design and tower defense mechanism
"BEST GAME EVER" - Sean Croxford 2023
Sanctum 2 at is base is a pretty cool game but it severely lacks depth. Each level is preceded by a mere single page comic book to add a semblance of story that is frankly non-existent. Each level has NPCs but there's no dialogue interaction, nor any examining of objects for you to digest lore. Levels are only a few waves long, meaning you spend the entire time setting up your blockade and towers, with hardly any time to upgrade. There's little satisfaction to be had once you have strategically laid out your towers.
