Roots of Pacha

One of the best farming sims out there comparable to Stardew Valley. Great spin on the prechistoric, very good NPC's, satisfing farming and cave progresions.

As an avid Stardew Valley player, I figured I would like this game. I think it goes beyond that. I think I enjoy this game MORE than I like Stardew Valley. That being said I'm not bashing SDV. ROP just has so much to do. Mining, befriending animals, befriending villagers, discovering new seeds and crafting things. Plus the NPCs have so much dialogue and so many quests. Also, the game can progress without your help, unlike Stardew Valley where things just go stagnant if you're stuck at a certain point. I also like that there's no monsters to fight in the caves. This really is the "cozier" version of Stardew Valley imo.

Look, we can't deny the similarities in farm sims in 2026 and an obvious comparison to a major league player. BUT when SV gets a bit 9-5, OCD overdrive - Roots of Pacha offers a slower paced simpler life, something I think we all prefer. Beautifully created, soft whimsy & very minor flaws for the peaceful-type gamer. Comparatively, there are very creative additions that are either ridiculously cute or validate the fact the developer must be intelligent, SV's rom relationships can't be beat, but still these ones are pretty close and abundant! - obsessed x

Very cute and I love the differences this game went with than other farming Sims. Community is really important in it, and they show it in a lovely way with your tribe-mates working on their own projects throughout the year! I've only got 24 hours logged as of this review, but that's been like 3 nonstop play sessions. I absolutely love this game!
