Roots of Pacha

absolutely love this. similar to stardew, but has so many different elements that make it unique. really a special game, i can't wait to keep playing.

If you set Stardew Valley into a Prehistoric Caveman era, the game is that. It's a refreshing cozy game. Very similar to Stardew in that you farm, mine and gather. Form relationships with your tribe. It took me a while to warm up to this game cause I have played many similar "Stardew esk" games before. This one does it differently and really challenges you to start with a literal rock and see how far you can get. The only complaint I have right now is the stamina bar but I am early game so I am hopeful it gets manageable soon. I love the concept of it very much and would recommend to any Stardew Valley lover out there!

I was debating for a while if I should buy this game. I wish I had done it way sooner!!! If your favourite game is Stardew Valley and you are looking for something similar but new, this is it. The animals are so cute, it's really low stress, but there's so much to do. I love it, it is exactly what I was looking for.

This game is great. There are so many different things to do and unlock, and the characters are all very loveable and have their own things going on so you can see them doing activities around the camp and even the other maps. Domesticating harvests is SUCH a cool concept, going from wild seeds to fully domesticated plants was a novel idea. The puzzles can be challenging, but there is lots of time to figure them out (or look for help). 100 hours in, still haven't finished everything. And I'm already thinking of ways to try new things on the next run.

Epic if you like stardew valley

If you love high quality and labour of love farming games like Stardew or Fields of Mistria, GET THIS! A truly wonderful, fun and unique farming game that, in my opinion, deserves to be mentioned right next to the best of the best like Stardew Valley. The amounts of love, care and passion the devs put into this game is palpable. From the pixel art, the diversity of the cast, to the music. Everything oozes charm and love. You just *know* they love what they have made and are passionate about their work. The setting is unique and quite fitting for the genre. I love the different kinds of animals and the ways they implemented convenient things like sprinklers or automation/refinement of produce in a way that is fitting with said setting. Something that deserves to be highlighted as well is that not only can you date and marry any bachelor/ette, but the game is also poly friendly, something I have never seen before in those games. (Also, a Dilf among the bachelors!! Such a rare but so welcome sight to have in games like these. Only a corresponding older Lady is missing.) You can date as many of the romanceable characters as you like, only the union is restricted to one character. You can also adjust the length of the day, making the game truly cozy and laid back on the longest setting, or more tight and "hectic" if you so desire. It is quite sad that not more people are talking about Roots of Pacha, the team and game deserve it! I'm looking forward to what the future holds for the devs :)
