Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8/day in the week to Sep 1 → 14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Rebuild civilization in this action-adventure survival game for 1-8 players. Fight hordes of the walking dead, build settlements, restore the Roman gods... or kick back and farm with friends.
In Romestead, the dead walk at night and the gods have gone silent. Explore, gather, build, and slowly turn a camp into a working settlement.

Romestead scales in difficulty depending on how many players are in the world. Play solo or multiplayer with up to eight players. Host your own server or connect peer to peer.

Heavy resources are physical objects in the world. Gather rocks, ores, and logs, and carry them one at a time back to your town. Or make a cart train to haul them all at once. An enemy closing in? Chuck a boulder in its face.

Search the world for survivors to recruit as artisans, keep your people happy, and turn your towns into hubs for crafting, farming, and automated production. As you discover more biomes you can build more specialized settlements and even set up trade routes between them.

Make offerings and sacrifices to awaken the gods. Restore their connection to the world, earn their favor, and unlock technologies, buffs, and upgrades that will help you rebuild Rome.

The world of Romestead is procedurally generated and filled with handcrafted places and secrets. Explore unique dungeons filled with enemies and puzzles that reward you with gear, trinkets, citizens and more.

Epic bosses stand between you and a glorious empire. Gather your strength, upgrade your gear, and prepare to face them. Defeat the enemies of Rome and the gods will reward you.

Certainly playable and fun but boy is it rough. This is Very Early Access. It’s not just the ui/ux that needs a firm upgrade, it is the entire balance and progression of the game that is entirely out of whack and frankly a big mess. I appreciate the developers for their ambitious scope but it also means the game is filled with rudimentary systems that will take many patches to get the game not in a polished but in a CLEAR state. There is town building with automation through citizens, there is decoration, there is gods and worship with a tech tree, there is gear progression and boss fights and a skill tree, and a procedurally generated map filled to the brim with (repetitive) dungeons. However, not one of those systems is in a basically good state at the moment and most of all it doesn’t flow well together. Example. The game really makes you feel the weight of things; when you build you literally have to carry stones and wood to the building site and then do a mini construct game. I really appreciate that because it feels very rewarding. For clay you have to make a bucket, carry it to the clay ground, fill it, walk back. Farm resources take time to grow, etc. But then there is a series of containers (“doliums”) that let you make olive oil, beer, wine. For beer, you simply put raw grain inside and voila. This is not just weirdly out of place, but it is also broken: the beer it creates gives massive worship points for one of the gods, making the entire balance out of whack. Not that it really matters though; the tech tree you can unlock via worship points is a neat idea, but it contains little of interest. Most of it is extremely generic: basic building levels. However, in the end there is nothing to really chose, because it is all gated through bosses. This means that gear progression is the real progression. And so even though this game has many systems - building levels, citizen levels, tech tree progression, quest progression - ultimately they all lead to a single one: gear progression. This is my main criticism in a nutshell: all systems are not just underdeveloped, but also moot because it is all tied in with boss progression. You cannot advance your town meaningfully, unless you defeat bosses. And in order to defeat bosses you have to focus on gear. There is no clear distinction here between town progression & decorations and boss fights/dungeon progression and gear. One reigns supreme, and the town building always is lagging behind. That feels bad. Another example. Gear is unlocked through new buildings levels, but some gear is found through recipes, while other gear is tied to citizen levels. It is not just confusing, the result is also that because progression is locked by bosses, you often get new gear recipes after the fact. A lot of it is rendered moot. Or take decoration. You can unlock some decoration through the tech tree and build it like other buldings. But then some buildings themselves have separate furniture options. You can also demolish things in the world and gain blueprints and these show up somewhere else. Technically decoration in this game is only a few buildings that give appeal, but as a town builder all these decorating options in different menu’s makes for an extremely unclear experience. Or take citizens. They have some traits that are generic and safe to ignore, they level up but it is not clear what they unlock when because some of it is tied to building levels, which is tied to boss progression. You can also gift them anything but it has little use. All in all they are extremely lackluster, without any personality. Considering the original theme of a Rome that has fallen to zombies, it is a missed opportunity that the devs don’t make you care about your citizens in meaningful ways. There is so much room for improvement here, I don’t even know where to start. Also, not once have a lost a citizen to a raid, even those outside the walls seem perfectly fine. All in all I believe they released this game too early, it is too embryonic still. Now that the locusts will scream for new content every couple of months, I worry they will never get to really crystallizing these systems. Considering their first update is controller support and a new biome, it does not bode well. These systems do not need a little polish at the end of Early Access, they need a fundamental step back and redesign! Now I cannot thumb down a fun and ambitious game like this, and I will certainly keep playing, but there is no clarity at all on the elemental progression blocks and balance of this game. The coming months will show what the devs have in mind when they call this Early Access. If they do justice to what is in the game, there is no way in Vulcan this game can be 1.0 ready in 1-2 years.
balanced only for multiplayer. tedious to the max. disrespecting your time every step. if you enjoy getting slapped every 2 minutes, this crap is for you
难度太大,精细度不足,新手教程不足
