Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6/day in the week to Sep 1 → 17.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Rock Bottom takes the familiar appeal of incremental progression and gives it a hands-on mining framework where almost every action contributes to becoming more capable underground. Developed and published by Logan Games, the experience revolves around descending through procedurally generated caves, breaking apart the environment, collecting valuable ores, processing materials, and investing the resulting resources into permanent improvements. Its concept is easy to understand, but the accumulation of upgrades gives the simple mining routine enough momentum to encourage repeated expeditions. The central activity is manual mining with a pickaxe. Instead of functioning as a completely passive incremental game where progress largely happens through menus and automated numbers, Rock Bottom asks players to participate directly in resource gathering. Exploring caves, deciding where to dig, discovering valuable deposits, and searching for treasure provide an active foundation for the progression system. Procedural generation helps repeated expeditions feel less predictable because cave layouts and opportunities can change rather than requiring players to travel through precisely the same environment every time. Permanent progression is one of the strongest elements of the design. Materials gathered during expeditions contribute toward a substantial skill tree, allowing the character to become progressively more effective. Improvements carry forward rather than disappearing after each excursion, so even a relatively unsuccessful mining trip can contribute something toward future advancement. This creates the satisfying incremental-game sensation of returning to an activity that once felt slow or difficult and discovering that accumulated upgrades have made it significantly easier. Resource processing gives mining additional purpose. Ores collected underground can be placed into the smelter and converted into bars, establishing a progression sequence that extends beyond simply collecting objects and watching a currency counter increase. Gathering materials, processing them, purchasing improvements, and returning underground creates a clear gameplay rhythm. The additional processing step is simple enough to remain approachable while providing a welcome management component between expeditions. The skill tree and unlockable abilities are particularly important because Rock Bottom depends heavily on making the player feel increasingly powerful. Early mining establishes a baseline of relatively modest capabilities, while subsequent improvements gradually increase efficiency. Stronger abilities provide more noticeable demonstrations of advancement and prevent progression from feeling entirely statistical. The pleasure comes from seeing the cumulative effects of previous work, especially when an obstacle or area that previously required considerable effort becomes much easier to handle. The journey is divided across eight underground layers, giving the progression an identifiable destination rather than reducing the experience to endless digging without milestones. Reaching another layer provides a stronger sense of accomplishment and introduces different surroundings, challenges, and increasingly desirable resources. Areas such as the Sunken Canopy contribute environmental personality and give players something new to anticipate as they descend. This structure also works well with permanent upgrades because greater character strength directly supports the objective of pushing farther below the surface. Its 2D presentation complements the straightforward nature of the gameplay. Rock Bottom prioritizes readable environments and immediate feedback over elaborate visual spectacle, which suits a game centered on repeated resource gathering. Different underground areas help break up the scenery while maintaining enough clarity for players to identify useful materials and navigate efficiently. The overall visual approach feels appropriate for an experience where mechanical progression and exploration matter considerably more than cinematic presentation. Repetition remains an unavoidable part of the package. Mining, collecting ore, smelting materials, buying improvements, and returning underground constitute a deliberate cycle that players will perform many times. Anyone who needs constant mechanical reinvention may eventually find this structure repetitive. However, procedural caves, permanent upgrades, multiple underground layers, treasures, and increasingly powerful abilities help provide reasons to continue. The repetition generally feels purposeful because each successful expedition moves the player closer to another improvement or greater depth. The game also includes achievements and cloud-saving functionality, both of which fit comfortably with its long-term progression structure. Steam Deck compatibility is officially categorized as Playable rather than fully Verified. Performance with the default graphics configuration is considered suitable, and the game can run successfully on SteamOS. However, handheld players should expect compromises. Some functionality is not fully accessible through the default controller configuration, touchscreen interaction or a community controller layout may occasionally be useful, and text entry can require manually opening the virtual keyboard. Some interface text may also appear small, while certain prompts can display keyboard, mouse, or non-Steam Deck controller icons. It is therefore functional on the Deck, but the experience is less seamless than a fully optimized handheld release. Rock Bottom ultimately works best for players who enjoy watching modest beginnings develop into increasingly efficient progression. Its appeal comes from the relationship between active mining and permanent advancement rather than from an elaborate narrative or complicated simulation. The procedural caves provide the immediate playground, while smelting, abilities, the skill tree, valuable resources, and eight progressively deeper layers supply the long-term motivation. As an incremental mining experience, it presents a cohesive loop that is simple to learn but rewarding to develop over time. There is always a recognizable connection between gathering resources now and becoming stronger later, making even routine mining contribute toward a broader objective. While repetition is intrinsic to its identity and Steam Deck support remains officially unverified, the combination of exploration, resource processing, permanent upgrades, and increasingly ambitious underground expeditions gives Rock Bottom a compelling sense of forward momentum. 玩起來數值很滑順 爽度很高 希望能有更多關卡
В целом прикольненько) за 4 часа прошел
My only complaint is there isn't ENOUGH of this game. Please make a DLC pack so I can get some more mining fun!
