Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Rise of Industry is a fun game, and the developer spent a lot of time on this one to make it a great economic simulator with robust supply chains.

The tutorial is so poorly made, I cannot figure out how to do basic things. Very layered and obscure interface. For example tutorial says "sell goods" That's it. No instructions where to go in menu or what to click to do so. Useless. I have wasted hours just in the tutorial. Bad design.
Rise of Industry: ¡Conviértete en el magnate más aburrido del planeta!

Resumen
Imagina que tienes demasiado tiempo libre y una obsesión por los números y la logística que ni el mismísimo Sheldon Cooper podría igualar. ¡Bienvenido a Rise of Industry!
The game might be quite good eventually, I've seen some things already and as you look through the research tree it becomes clear that the game is really in-depth. However, I think there is one major part lacking: The introduction. I have played the 'Career' mode five times now. Each time I get stuck somewhere during the tutorial. One big issue is the Train Terminal you have to place in the beginning. For some reason whatever way I connect the road to my warehouse it will not be able to find a clear path. I've tried everything, different warehouses (mirrored version), a gazillion different roads. I changed the train tracks too. Nothing works, there is too little actual useful explanation in the tutorial even though they put a lot of text on the screen. Once I did manage to get the Train Terminal working (no clue how, it is really inconsistent) I went bankrupt quite quickly because the game decides it is now fair for you to pay off 125K a month when you barely have any running productions yet. Again, not a good introduction to the game. Another part that is not good enough for a game like this is the UI. It is unclear what the TAB does in the beginning, I assumed it toggled the overlay on but instead it toggles through a whole list of different overlays. There is too much text, especially in the beginning as you simply can't process that much information without kind of knowing what's going on first. Also, why is it over each other. There is a tutorial text box already on the screen, I then open a menu from a building. If I want to close it I have to move either one of them out of the way. Again, the game is probably good if you manage to make it further and it actually starts running well. But for these type of games I would expect a better introduction that allows me to learn the main mechanics and I would like those mechanics to actually work. (I'm looking at you, train terminal) I even changed the settings to lower the starting difficulty score to like 70%, but it's not like that made a big difference. I'm really into games like these and I will give this another go, but man. It has been extremely annoying so far and it could really have done with a better tutorial. Edit: I have now played the game some more, and if you make it through the first tutorial/assisted part it will turn into a better game. There's still some more things for me to explore but I can definitely say that it gets way better once you make it through. Also, price wise you can buy it for pretty cheap.
A really great Transport-Tycoon-Style game. The controls are nice and clean, the graphics are nice, it runs more than well enough on my decade old rig, and the gameplay has fun depth without feeling too cluttered. Tip, don't worry about trying to do it all, try to specialize into a specific handful of industries on your first play through, and set the dispatch and/or upkeep costs to 50% in the difficulty so you don't feel too worried about perfecting your efficiency as you learn everything. I'm excited to try out the sequel, whose negative reviews mostly seem to be about early release bugs that will all be ironed out soon enough I'd guess given this game runs *very* well. All together, not just a fun game for people who have already played Transport Tycoon, but also a great game to get into the genre for people who haven't!
Spiritual successor to the cult classic Industry Giant 2, this game fills a niche that's been lying empty FAR too long. It's got nice graphics and the gameplay mechanics are complex and comfortable. This game deserves support! (Note: this game is from a niche genre of Dad games and my review suggests it's a good example of it's kind, but you've still got to be a model train enthusiast to enjoy model trains, so understand that this recommendation is aimed at those of us that have the appropriate brand of train-autism.)
don't buy this game if you have a mac !
I hate that this game has a bad review... so I when to play it again and tried the train logistics, and other and there in no way of making them work. I have been playing literally thousands of hours logistic games and this is with a difference the one that works terribly. Esentially trains and so on simply don't work. Aaaaand it crashed. Marvelous. Fix your game! I need a game that actually works...
Its too complicated, I did a 72 step tutorial and instantly refunded the game.
