Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 20 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"It's like Necrodancer!" What an insult to such a good game. - No sound-based tells from enemies - Forgettable music - Why are all the enemies vegetables and not something related to music - Very unintuitive controls due to action bloat (yes, in both modes) - haha this part of the map is a dead end, didn't you see it coming?

Using an Xbox controller, I see correct controller prompts, but my inputs aren't recognized. I tried enabling / disabling steam input but it didn't change anything. At this point I could continue troubleshooting, or I can just leave a negative review. And here I am, doing the latter.
Rhythm Fighter is a quirky side-scroller roguelike that tests your tempo in a vegetable-powered apocalypse – ★★★⯪☆

Bangers:
✅ Unique rhythm-action combat. The core gameplay loop is timing your moves and actions to the beat and defeating the vegetable enemies, which creates a natural and satisfying feel when you're in rhythm. ✅ Great soundtrack. The music soundtrack consists of electronic, chiptune, and energetic beats that parallel the world you're in, which is not only fun to listen to but also carries the gameplay. Staying to the beat of the soundtrack can get you through the toughest fights. ✅ Roguelike replayability. Each level is procedurally generated, with unqiue bunlockable characters and upgrades, as well as randomised power-ups and weapons that you find throughout each room. There is also a daily challenge mode which has randomised rules and restrictions placed on the run. ✅ Engaging side-scrolling visuals. The cartoon-like visuals of the game give it an arcade, side-scroller vibe, and there is a strong audio-visual link as well to get you aligned to the beat of the soundtrack. The art style reminds me a lot of Maplestory in a way with the cute but cartoon-like aesthetic.
Missteps:
⛔ Weapons need to be reworked in terms of damage. First, the weapons are very unbalanced; I found that the ranged weapons were way better than melee, particularly Bill's Trusty Rifle. The rifle easily clears enemies because it hits multiple enemies in a line while doing high damage. Even a 2-star rifle outpowers a 9-star melee-weapon. Although there is a 20% increased damage drawback of using ranged weapons, it doesn't make a difference when enemies can't even reach me. ⛔ Most tactical items feel useless. I found that most tactical items aren't particularly useful or strong enough to warrant constant use when fighting. I think making them stronger but with a longer cooldown would be more useful, since most regular attacks do the same amount of damage. ⛔ Enemies become too spongey in later worlds. Enemies get very damage spongey in the later world stages and it tends to take forever to defeat them, especially when there are way more waves of enemies as well in the later stages. This was really only made easier with the OP ranged weapons, and using melee weapons made it nearly impossible to succeed. ⛔ Some bosses need better balancing. I feel like the difficulty of bosses ranges between an extreme of easy to difficult, with no middle ground. The desert and chinatown bosses are quite easy to read and work around, while the sumo and museum cat boss have way more attack variety, making them much more difficult. Some boss levels are almost impossible to not to get damaged from, like the sumo boss where most of the stage is on fire.
I dont get how this game has a "Very positive" rating Its dog, I got bored after 10 minutes, I regret buying 2/10 for the graphics
Surprisingly a very interesting game, it’s similar to Necrodancer in combat but in other aspects it’s a way different game. I really recommend it for people that enjoy rhythm games where a lot is going on
