Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator

Man, what a great game. This one really brought back some memories. I miss those days of going to the video store with your parents and getting to pick out a couple of movies for the weekend. There was just something special about those times. Man, I really miss being a kid.

That's like super cringe and weird... I spend at least an hour on the demo. After it, I bought the game cuz it was dope and spend around 2-3h in it. And Steam just started counting today... Whatever, so, I will praise the game, but wanna write something and hope the devs will see it: The game isn't greatly optimized. The demo was kinda better. But it kinda overheats my PC. I can run it on high or even epic... but I am forced to lower it between high and medium just so it doesn't overheat my machine... pls, do something. About the game - yes, it's very addictive. Really love it. The settings are great and the gameplay loop is very fun. I couldn't let it down. After playing the S out of the demo, it was an easy buy. This game is a masterpiece <3

Retro Rewind scratched an itch of organizing and designing. I would genuinely laugh at some of the absurd movie titles. Graphics are pretty good even on Steam Deck (I played primarily on my PC but would occasionally play on the deck). Some of my gripes with this game are the employees falling asleep, customers tossing movies if they got upset, the annoying pointless phone calls and the lack of number of employees I could hire. Having a maximum of 2 employees and 1 cash register felt off balance, and I think employees assigned to Return station should handle customer requests I would recommend this game to people who want to run their own movie store, I'd say this game is a 7/10.

It’s just lovely. I didn’t know I’d enjoy store simulation games this much before playing Retro Rewind. I absolutely love the nostalgia. I really appreciate that there is always something to do and that (so far) it didn't turn into one of those games where you eventually just stand around idling. I wish this would have co-op mode - would love to play this with a friend. Really hoping for more content in the future.
