a lotta fun, but a bit confusing, and oh my god. it's borderline unplayable sometimes. so be prepared for that. I've been trying to play through all the RE games, and so far, this is the one I've had the most trouble with, next to RE5. Revelations is great, but the method of storytelling is pretty confusing, and the game is really not optimized well, especially going between chapters. I'm a big fan of the controversial RE6. I really like how you can play through each character's campaign, get a different but overlapping storyline for each one, etc. But this? This is set up in the same way as RE5 (Episodes broken down into chapters, or whatever it is - like 6-1, 6-2, 7-1, etc. At most there are 3 chapters) but each chapter isn't necessarily following the same characters. I don't remember the specifics, so just as an example, Chapter 3-1 could be a flashback to Chris trying to find Jill, then 3-2 is Jill on the ship doing whatever it is, then 3-3 is a random BSAA officer trying to find Chris, but also doing something that interacts with Jill/helps her out, and 4-1 starts somewhere completely different. That's not exactly what happens, obviously, but it's that sort of confusing flip flopping to different characters in different situations that happens constantly. It's pretty hard to keep track of. As for the performance issues? I have no idea why, but after one, maybe 2 chapters, my game will start stuttering, lagging, losing fps, and all around becoming unplayable. It starts eating up ALL of my CPU - literally went from like, 25% usage while minimized to 85% usage when I opened it back up. It has ruined boss fights - I'm literally here writing this review because I just died to something as my controller would lag like crazy, fps started dropping to unplayable levels, everything started stuttering, and I was just trying to finish this time sensitive section. I had to take a break overnight because the most recent boss fight was unplayable since every time I loaded in, even after verifying game files, fully shutting it down, adjusting all settings, etc., the game was so bad that I couldn't shoot, couldn't aim, couldn't walk, couldn't do anything, and it was giving me a headache. I've not found any solution to this, not even anywhere online, so if anyone has any ideas, I'd love the help. I really want to play this game, it just eats up CPU like crazy.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

9/10, combat feels intense but not overwhelming. I wish the game was a bit longer but it's still good. The last boss fight is also very memorable with all the dodging and whatnot.
It’s alright. I like that the game primarily takes place on a ship. The setting is large and has many cool areas to explore. It can feel claustrophobic and scary at times. The port runs well, and I enjoyed the Chris/Jill reunion. However, most of the side characters are forgettable. The minimap is hard to use. The story feels all over the place, and I don’t like the Arctic sections. There’s a lot of plot armor, and the sudden shifts between goofy moments and horror don’t mix well. I think the game would have been better if it focused entirely on the ship. The guns also lack weight, and there’s very little feedback when shooting. I’d recommend buying it on a deep sale.

I hate this game with a passion. The team behind this game didn't think once about making the game enjoyable to play; they just wanted it to be annoying and laborious. The dodging mechanics are the worst gaming mechanics I have ever seen implemented in a game. The enemies are not fun to combat, literally just annoying, jumping around like a ping-pong ball all over the place. There are at least two instant-death enemies you encounter, and everyone loves instant-death enemies that are also tanky. Brute forcing this game, trying to get all the achievements, was the worst gaming experience I have ever been put through, and I have thousands of hours of gaming.

Un gran juego, pero que al final te deja con ganas de saber más...
This could of been a main line Resident Evil it's so good. The fact this started out as a 3DS game is crazy to me. This has everything you would expect from a resident evil title and I even think it laid some of the ground work for RE7. This came out around the same year as RE6 but rather than the heavy action approach of 6 it remains more faithful to the original titles while offering improvements with the survival horror approach. Rather than tank controls you have the ability to freely move around and shoot at the same time. The whole boat setting is perfect for a survival horror type of game offering plenty of claustrophobic unsettling environments scenarios with enemies. Speaking of enemies they all have more of a aquatic look to them which is a nice change. The gameplay is very action horror but it leans more towards the survival horror. There is lots of resources but you always feel like you are just barley getting by because enemies are bullet sponges. Early game using your dodge and avoiding enemies is essential and the game does a horrible job of explaining this. Eventually I had to look at the controls to figure out you could even dodge. It also kind of does a bad job of explaining enemy weak points I think on certain enemies it is their arm rather than their head which common sense would tell you it's the other way around. It has puzzles and you are rewarded for good exploration as well. Some of the boss battles are pretty cool and well crafted as well. There is nice enemy variety in general. The story takes place between 4 and 5 with plenty of unexpected twists that I was actually not expecting. I was really impressed with the story. It was cool playing as Jill again. My only complaint would be some of the more action heavy sequences go over board almost Cod levels shooting waves of grunt type enemies which I can not remember the actual name of. The game has a good level of horror but I wouldn't say it's super scary. There is a level of campiness to this game but it is the good kind you would want in a resident evil game. I would say the worst part is the annoying episodic format the story follows. Maybe it worked better on the 3ds to play in short bursts but overall it kind of hurts the pacing a little bit. It's annoying having recaps and menus popping up every hour or 2. But overall this is a amazing must play game in my opinion.
Не стоит внимания. На уровне ре5 и 6. Сюжет мб норм, но мне не зашло. Геймплей полное говно, тупой тир, короче как ре6, тупое кино без геймплея
Bence az kaynakla (para olarak) mükemmel bi iş çıkarmışlar atmosfer falan güzeldi hikaye aşırı iyi baya güzel ters köşeler var karakter kalite oynanışta normal ama animasyonlarında kötü biraz bence yüz detayları falan 2. kez oynar mıyım oynamam bence bi kez oynanıp bırakılacak bi oyun ama ilk başta dediğim gibi hikaye falan çok iyi bence kesinlikle oynanmalı aksiyon korku dengesi çok güzel sağlanan oyunlardan biri.
