Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 21.14/day in the week to Sep 8 → 32.57/day in the week after.

easily the best resident evil
这是我这辈子第一次给游戏写差评。我很喜欢生化危机,但这一作克里斯篇的跑酷简直是不是人玩的。

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 29.63/day in the week to Jul 21 → 38.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a gem that needs to stay hidden (Its bad)
Despite the endless debates and the mixed reputation Resident Evil 6 has within the community, there's no denying that it has a unique charm of its own. The gameplay is incredibly fast-paced and builds nicely on the ideas introduced in Resident Evil 5. That said, the constant QTEs can become exhausting, and some sequences—like Chris and Piers' infamous escape—are made even more frustrating by a camera that seems to have a mind of its own. The overall atmosphere depends heavily on which campaign you're playing. The game features four full-length stories, each with its own distinct identity: Leon's campaign leans closest to classic survival horror, Chris' is a full-blown military action game, Jake and Sherry's is pure high-octane action, while Ada's campaign focuses more on stealth and puzzles. It's a bit of a wild mix, but that's exactly what makes it so enjoyable. If you want to get the most out of it, I highly recommend playing in co-op—it truly brings out the game's full potential. The story delivers exactly the kind of over-the-top absurdity you'd expect from a Resident Evil title. Once you stop trying to apply logic and simply go along for the ride, it's actually a lot of fun to follow. There are also some genuinely emotional moments that hit harder than expected. Chris' ending, for example, was surprisingly touching, and I honestly felt sorry for Helena's sister. That said, I still have a lot of questions about Helena herself. I never really understood why she was introduced in the first place when Claire Redfield could have filled that role far more naturally. Claire already had strong ties to the existing cast and storyline, and bringing her back would've opened the door to a much more compelling narrative instead of introducing a fairly forgettable character. Ironically, this issue is unique to Helena, because Piers proves that a brand-new partner can absolutely work. Despite technically serving the same role, he ended up feeling like a genuinely memorable and well-developed character. The real highlight for both my co-op partner and me, however, was Jake's campaign. It completely stole the show. Jake and Sherry have fantastic chemistry, and watching their relationship develop was easily the most enjoyable part of the game. Sure, the endless snowstorm section tested our patience more than once, but Jake's charisma makes it easy to forgive even the most frustrating gameplay moments. He turned out to be an outstanding character with a compelling redemption arc tied to the legacy of his father, Albert Wesker. That arc becomes even more meaningful alongside Sherry, who carries a similarly heavy family legacy of her own. It's honestly a shame Jake only appeared in this one game—I would love to see Capcom bring him back in a future installment. Visually, the game has aged surprisingly well. Even in 2026, it doesn't feel hopelessly outdated, although its age is certainly noticeable. Resident Evil 6 absolutely deserves a full-scale remake, and I genuinely hope Capcom gets around to it someday. With modern RE Engine visuals, refined gameplay mechanics, and a tighter script, this game could become something truly special. Even in its original form, though, it's a title that's well worth experiencing.
