Survival is just the beginning. Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors, tracks the president's kidnapped daughter to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Rarely could a remake/rewrite achieve the levels Resident Evil 4 reached. Now that it's been a few years since this release, I have the thoughts to write my review. Vastly different in tone from the original, there was a bar set so high that an Olympic pole-vaulter easily could've missed, and yet they managed to craft a refreshing experience on the foundation of the bones, marrow and chilled blood of the RE4 we all know and love. RE4 is arguably my favorite video game of all time, I played through it more times than I could count since I was young and loved it equally or more every time. This remake satisfied essentially every itch to be scratched, the greatly improved script (I love the campiness of the original, but a 1:1 remake would've been eye-rolling), smooth controls that lend themselves to the action-oriented terror and that ever-familiar atmosphere throughout the very extensive journey of our leading man Leon Kennedy. One of the most impactful changes they made was the rewrite of Ashley's character. I didn't have too many issues with the original, but in RE4R, she is so very well fleshed out and charming, contributing a depth and investment in her dynamic with Leon and the violent, horrifying world closing in around them. Not to mention her cheering you on in the shooting gallery was just about the most motivating thing possible. Excellent voice acting and character progression, I give an earnest thank-you to the writers for giving us this new look at a character we spend a great deal of time with. The lore presented through collectibles gives us much more insight into the characters as well, and while optional, I'm always glad when developers provide us with snippets into the thoughts, emotions and lives of those who inhabit the world we are plugged into. More than once I was caught off guard by how moved I was by the backstories of certain characters, and that connection only deepened my experience with the game as whole. The challenge still exists, I went with the confidence of a veteran RE4 player on the higher difficulties and found myself more than adequately impressed with how often I found myself on the back foot. The enemies don't just feel like fodder. The bosses are not only imposing, but quite cinematic in the same vein as the original. There's a true sense of accomplishment when you reach the end of this journey, and I couldn't be happier with what they changed, what they maintained, and what they greatly improved. As with the original, the replay value is vast. It's okay to be afraid...and it's also okay to stick a knife in the neck of a bloodthirsty Los Plagas trying to cut your head off. All that matters is you keep moving forward.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game will always be my favorite game of all time and I genuinely don’t think that will ever change It was also the first Steam game I played after getting my PC, so it means a lot to me. I was never really a horror game person. I mostly just watched story videos and gameplay videos on YouTube instead of playing them myself. One day, while I was looking for game story videos like I usually did, I came across Resident Evil 4. The story and the world instantly caught my interest. After that, I also watched the story of Resident Evil 2. No spoilers, but since it’s connected to RE4, it helped me understand Leon S. Kennedy a lot better as a character, which made me way more invested in the story. That’s how I first got into the Resident Evil universe, and Resident Evil 4 Remake became the first game I truly wanted to experience for myself. Luckily, it had already been out for around two years and was on sale, so I bought it and jumped in with pretty high expectations. And honestly? It lived up to every single one of them. The story, the graphics, the character dialogue, and the balance between horror and action were all incredible. It was so good that I actually started worrying other horror games might not hit the same afterward, because this game set the bar so high for me. I finished it in about three days, and after that, I just kept coming back to it. I played both the main story and the DLC, and I’ve completed this game more than 15 times now. There are still so many things I want to say about this game, especially the moments that made it so unforgettable to me, but I don’t want to spoil anything for new players. All I can say is that this game gave me an experience I still think about long after finishing it. So I’ll keep it simple: I honestly wish I had discovered this game sooner. It’s an amazing game, and actually playing it is so much more fun than just watching gameplay videos. If you’re reading this and still wondering whether you should buy it, just buy it. You won’t regret it :)
10/10! Not just the best RE game but one of the best games of all time, period.
My first game in the series. Definitely enjoyed it w/o any prior knowledge...
Where's everyone going, bingo?
Leon is the sexiest man alive
[b]This time, it can be different.
