Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 3.86/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Jul 20 → 5.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

RE2 is a very good game, playable to today, even though it has a few minor issues, but let's start with good things. Tank controls and fixed camera: I know that some people hate these two things, but for me this wasn't that bad (which doesn't change the fact that this type of movement is outdated). Tank controls at the beginning can be confusing and hard to use (like riding on bike), but once you get used to them, it becomes fun and dodging enemies that way is very satisfying, for me RE2 is best game in series to get used to this way of movement. About fixed camera, it is used in creative way, like in first encounter with licker, when you see him by window, and in next room camera change only once to perspective, as if he were watching you, or sometimes camera is far away from your character, which gives you felling that you're nothing in comparison to all of these. B scenario and zapping system: I played Claire B and honestly it was fun, even though most of the time i explored same locations, but because of some gameplay differences it wasn't a problem. Biggest changes in B route is that you can explore RPD more freely and Mr X appearance (which will be mentioned later) and of course there's Claire herself, which has different cutscenes, get different weapons, and explore some new places. About zapping system, i liked that some choices maded in A scenario, have consequences in B scenario, such as whether you can leave something for second character, or you can just take everything for yourself in A route, or you can weaken enemies in A but they will appear stronger in B, and it's a shame that was removed in remake, especially since it could have been improved with today’s technology. Problems: Unfortunately, this game have two cons. First and smaller problem is Mr X, even though he can be scary when you encounter him, he is too scripted and you see him very rarely, so you don't feel tension from his character that much. Second and biggest problem i have with this game, is that RE2 gives you too much ammo, so in most cases you don't really need to think how to run beside enemies, only at the start of B scenario i really needed to think how to manage my ammo. Overall i had fun playing this Resident Evil game and it is still worth playing today, but it's not perfect.

Reliquia 10/10.
This reminds me of childhood when I was very little, maybe 10 or 11 playing not even know English or Japanese. Many thanks to those guidebooks that helped through at the moment :-)

it good
10/10 Survival Horror
First Resident Evil I ever played and one of the best in my opinion. A and B scenarios are legit and offer new experiences to an retro game everyone should play it at least once in their life.
Sad story but very exiting ggame <33
