Before the mansion, before the destruction of Raccoon City, there was Resident Evil 0. Now remastered with improved visuals and sounds, as well as the all-new Wesker Mode, there's never been a better time to experience the origins of the Resident Evil story.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Historia: 9,5/10. La historia es cortita, pero sublime. Es un clásico del género. Tienes zombies pero también cosas mucho peores. Y los dos protagonistas son muy carismáticos. Puntuación final: 8,5/10. Muy bueno.
Story and Characters — 6/10 The story follows Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen as they investigate a series of strange events. Their partnership works well, and the game gives both characters enough time to develop. However, the main villain and several plot developments feel overly dramatic and difficult to take seriously. Gameplay — 6/10 The fixed-camera gameplay creates tension, while switching between Rebecca and Billy adds an interesting layer to combat, exploration and puzzle-solving. Managing two characters can also become frustrating when the AI wastes ammunition, takes unnecessary damage or fails to follow properly. The tank controls may also take time to get used to. Inventory System — 4/10 The lack of item boxes is the game’s biggest problem. Items must be dropped on the floor and collected later, often forcing you to repeatedly travel through cleared areas. Limited inventory space makes organising weapons, ammunition, healing items and key objects unnecessarily tedious, especially when managing two characters. Atmosphere and Visuals — 8/10 The pre-rendered environments still look impressive, and the train section provides a memorable opening. Lighting, sound design and narrow environments create a strong horror atmosphere throughout most of the game. Some later locations are less visually interesting, but the overall presentation remains one of its strongest features. Enemies and Bosses — 6/10 Several enemies are more annoying than frightening. Smaller creatures can be difficult to target because of the fixed camera and aiming system, while stronger enemies often absorb large amounts of ammunition. Most bosses are visually impressive but mechanically simple, with many fights mainly involving repeatedly firing until they die. Level Design and Puzzles — 7/10 The puzzles are generally enjoyable and make good use of the two-character system. Splitting Rebecca and Billy between different areas creates some of the game’s best moments. However, the inventory system makes backtracking far more frustrating than it should be, and some later sections feel less memorable than the opening areas. Replayability — 5/10 Extra costumes, unlockable weapons and higher difficulties provide reasons to replay the game. Later runs become faster once you understand the routes and know where to leave important items. However, the inventory management and repeated backtracking make replaying the game less appealing. Steam 100% Completion — 5/10 Full completion requires several playthroughs, challenge runs and collecting every file. Achievements involving limited saves, avoiding healing and completing Leech Hunter can be demanding. A guide is highly recommended to prevent missed collectibles and reduce unnecessary playthroughs. Overall — 6/10 Resident Evil 0 has strong visuals, a memorable opening and an interesting character-switching system. However, its inventory management creates more frustration than strategy. The excessive backtracking, awkward enemies and inconsistent later sections prevent it from being a consistently enjoyable experience, but there is still enough atmosphere and puzzle-solving to make it worth playing.
Replaying the series but never actually got to play RE0 in the past and wow, this game is absolute garbage. Especially after having just finished RE1 which is still an amazing game. Inventory management is hell. Enemies are meh. Several "puzzles" feel like RNG (talking about mixing the fluids here). And I know backtracking is to be expected in RE but it's absolutely ridiculous in this game because you can not store items so you have to drop them at convenient spots. The problem is, you obviously do not know in advance what spot is going to be convenient later. Lastly, enemies one-shotting you right as you enter new areas due to their placement (in b4 skill issue). Overall just a frustrating experience I wanted to get through to hit a checkmark / get more lore. It was not worth it. Do not play this game, just watch a video instead.
i was prepared for the Hookshot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so carrying it around wasnt that bad i was NOT prepared for the goofy ahh plot and dialogue all i can say is... never let Birkin open his mouth ever again </3

Rebecca Chambers melhora conforme a história avança. Essa incoerência acabou me incomodando bastante!
A inteligência artificial do parceiro é apenas aceitável.
Nota final: 4,5/10
