Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 9 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun game! It's a little on the simple side for a Metroidvania, but that's not a sin and I expected it since it seemed to be made by a small team of passionate gamers who are fans of the original anime production. The Ikaruga mechanic adds a nice layer to combat and exploration, although I am confident it can be pushed further in a follow-up game, such as adding more elements. The overall map design is smooth and intuitive. I barely had to do any backtracking during my first playthrough, thanks to smart shortcut and portal placement. The bosses are fun and become progressively more challenging. I did not experience any abrupt difficulty spikes. However, I think the flying dragon enemies in the last stage could have been tweaked a bit. I found it annoying how they could fly off screen behind a wall and continue firing laser beams. I didn't use the bow much in combat. It seemed underwhelming, due to its low damage output. I would gladly trade more MP cost for higher damage for the bows. Or maybe that's already an option in the game and I missed it? :O Despite the nitpicks and recommendations made above, I do recommend this game for Metroidvania fans. Especially those who love the "Igavania" Castlevania games like SotN. :) EDIT: Oh! And I enjoyed the soundtrack and pixel art!!!

Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is definitely a game for the 1990 anime fans. If you've watched it and don't particularly care about what a metroidvania is supposed to play like, you'll probably fall in love with it. I get the comparisons to Symphony of the Night , especially when it comes to its visuals and animations. But the truth is that while Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is a good game, it pales in comparison to any proper metroidvania. Yes, Deedlit is way more mobile than Alucard ever was without his transformations, but the Wonder Labyrinth doesn't hold a candle to Dracula's Castle and its interconnectivity. You should know that you're in for a painfully linear experience when the areas are literally numbered stages. Again, if you don't care about metroidvanias, there's a good game here. Great bosses, good soundtrack, neat references to the 1990 anime and a short but enjoyable time. I'd recommend watching the anime before playing it. And I'd recommend the game too as a good action game which happens to feature exploration. Never as a metroidvania.
