Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 9 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

decent metroidvania obv heavily inspired by SotN albeit kinda short and fairly linear
Beautiful game.
Fun little adventure, a love letter to a great old school anime and copies the asthetic and gameplay of Symphony of the night and the Gameboy castlevania series almost perfectly.

Metroidvania in the Record of Lodoss War universe. Your enjoyment will probably be greater if you are at least vaguely familiar with that franchise, but it's a good game on its own. On the shorter side, but not as short as the net would have you believe - at least if you are more of a casual player. I needed ~12 hours of actual play time for one run with near completion.
What a disappointment. The game plays and looks great. If you haven't seen/read Record of Lodoss War the story is complete nonsense but that doesn't matter. So what's the problem? The level design is some of the worst I've ever seen. There's a few interesting bits but 95% of the game is so bland and repetitive you'd think it was randomized. This coupled with the incredibly weak selection of power ups (it drops them entirely halfway through and you're just opening coloured doors) and you have something that's honestly not worth playing. I don't understand how they screwed up the fun part of making a game when they got the difficult part so right.
it's a symphony of the night clone, but actually it simplifies and streamlines it quite a bit. however that's not a problem because the flow of the game is so good that you just want to keep playing. the difficulty is very pleasant, some bosses took a few more tries but that's it. it hits the sweet spot between never too boring and never frustrating. i think the strength of this game is that it just feels really good to play. there are no annoying overly long cut scenes, i'm generally a skipper but here i read all of them. they're old school simple, no pretentious nonsense. great music but maybe a bit inconsistent.
A good, solid game. Not perfect, but fun and plays well. The good: - Graphics - great use of retro style graphics and they are very evocative - Controls - Deedlit is very responsive and agile and you have many options for dealing with challenges - Boss Fights - the highlight of the game! Each boss is distinctive and interesting, and the later ones can be challenging (if you don't spam healing potions like a wimp!) - Story - it ties in well with the source material (the "Record of Lodoss War" short stories, mangas, and animes) - Deedlit - Deedlit accurately reflects her source material; she's a glass-cannon who can dish out a lot of damage and is highly agile and capable, but needs to be careful about taking damage as she's fragile The bad: - Enemies - regular enemies just aren't generally much of a challenge as Deedlit's attacks are quite powerful and they take some time to react to her and attack, and once you learn their attacks they're easy to deal with - Gameplay - while the game is set in a labyrinth, the gameplay is generally linear, with Deedlit just crossing back and forth over the same terrain; you don't have many actual options or any opportunities to actually get lost Summary: - A good game with an excellent foundation, but I feel that some potential with the game is left on the table... if the game had branching paths and more challenging enemies, it would have been excellent. Worth buying!
Very short but very fun. If you're interested in getting it i would say wait for it to be on sale only because of how short it is.
