Receiver was created for the 7-day FPS challenge to explore gun handling mechanics, randomized levels, and unordered storytelling. Armed only with a handgun and an audio cassette player, you must uncover the secrets of the Mindkill in a building complex infested with automated turrets and hovering shock drones.

Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
This feels more like a demo than a game especially after playing receiver 2, I would recommend just buying the second game as it is much better than this one in every single way.
I want to preface my review by saying that I only really have about twenty hours in the game but modded the game a lot and the tools to mod count any time that the tools are open as time played. A decent if half-baked simulation shooter with a roguelike gameplay hook but the functional complexity of Slenderman and the Eight Pages. Your whole goal is to collect eleven (iirc, I don't remember the exact amount) of tapes which after all have played, you win. There is no real progression, the whole map is randomly made by picking out "tiles" from a tileset in a one-dimensional strip. It is extremely samey, you wanna know why? This is a game-jam game. Seriously, this is a game-jam game, barely updated outside of some workshop capabilities, then published to steam with a price-tag. This game and Receiver 2 are effectively identical outside of 2 having more polish, better graphics, and just generally better presentation. The second game does carry over the whole gameplay concete however, you just collect tapes. I added lua-based modding and custom gamemodes into the game through the source code because I like the core gameplay but this game is really not worth the time or money in the long run.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game was pretty good when it came out - because it actually worked. I saw it has workshop weapons now and excitedly redownloaded, since I had always wished this would be possible. First problem, the controls are no longer on the screen, so you don't know how to play. But most importantly - it doesn't work anymore You CANNOT add bullets into a mag. Even when rebinding, nothing works. Shame
gereksiz zor ama güzel düşünülmüş bir oyun.
fun. lots of workshop content including guns, maps and tapes.
Це навіть не гра, а просто техно-демка. Взагалі здивований побачити, що за таке просять гроші
had it probably 10+ years now. its not fun and its boring......i didn't like it.
great game but id reccomend getting receiver 2, this games more so of a demo
Learning the muscle memory of reloading each gun is super satisfying. Some of the randomization can be frustrating, but when I realized that I could reset by just holding "L" I had a much easier time learning what changed between runs and what stayed the same. The suspense and attention to detail in this game make it worth giving a shot, even if you just boot it up to go to the firing range and mess around with the pistols.
