Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.88/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Easily one of the best train games out there currently if you are interested in simple railway operations. Its not highly complex like some simulators, but feels much more driven than a lot of more aimless sandbox style games. If you like switching, this game is the pick. Additionally, there is a decent amount of modding options for additional content, and the modding scene is only improving.
Railroader is, at the current moment, the best train game on the market. Running the railroad and getting everything in the proper sidings, just feels right. if you have ADHD of any kind, this game is for you. The mods also make it spectacular, with many customization options, and a horde of new options. So what are you standing around here for? Get in the cab of No.2 and start your journey.

I've played for over 500 hours unmoded. I enjoy the complexity of the game and the problem solving challenge to it. The pace is as fast as you want it to be. I've nearly completed all of the milestones - currently working on the last one. I've been going slow and deliberate. Hopefully they'll continue to expand the game to add additional locomotives, car types, etc. and maybe allow time periods E.G. steam, early diesel, modern, etc. Likely at some point I'll add mods as the community has developed several that look interesting. I just opened up the entire line and loving the challenges of running trains over it with both interchanges working. Scheduling passenger trains was sort of a PIA and there could be come improvements with the A.I. logic, but it's still enjoyable. Wish the sidings were selectable on the map or some way to jump to those locations (there might be - I just haven't found it yet). Currently I go to the closest town and then scroll to get to the siding I'm looking for. Overall, still a great game.
Railroader, oh boy what a ride. First thought when I saw this was, "Oh cool! A multiplayer train simulator. This should be fun." A few blinks and I now have over 300 hrs in the game. This isn't just a train sim, it's on its way to being a proper Railroad management Sim. I enjoyed the map progression really gives you something to work towards. But what really blew me away was how this game switched from a train sim to a "management" sim. I often find myself "planning" how and when I want to run either my passenger or freight service. Very excited to see where the MOW update takes us. Wait a minute, custom timetables, managing multiple different consists, and a map you need to save up for and pay to increase, close enough, welcome back Railroad Tycoon. 10/10 "Stimulate the TISM."
