RAGE 2 brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, creators of the first-person shooter – to deliver a carnival of carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

MEEHHHHHHH.... the first one was so much better. This feels like it has alot of potential from what the first started out as, buuttttt looks like a clone to madmax in visuals and mapscaping and the random empty looting areas for exploration.. but a crappy version of borderlands with forgetfull characters and a very short story that once it starts to get traction.... just ends when your finally invested and grabbed the upgrades to shread the baddies. EXTREMELY glad I didnt pay anywhere near the full price for what repetative content its full of and lacks in soul. To call it Doom or a doom free roam is a joke. Doom was actually fun this was subpar and tediously boring at most.. wait till its $5 if you want to waste your time on this AAA dogwater.. Sad to see it turn to utter slop. A good time waster for sure but nothing special in anyway or form.
nah
Yes I would whole heartedly recommend this game. It has mixed reviews but dont let that fool u its realy fun. Its a open world style sandbox. At this games core its a FPS. It does have RPG elements though such as unlockable skills and powers aswell multiple cars and modifications for them. Its the mad max game meets borderlands kinda. Exept the Shooting is realy good and meaty. U can pick a female or male character. There is no character customization just male or female. Game opens up right into a war zone too strong start. While exploring u can run into convoys and skirmishs between bandits and mutants or other bandit clans. These both are respawning ecounters. Bandit camps can be replayed from what ive heard but u have to trigger them manuly. Also u will unlock what are essentialy super powers as u go borderlands style special abilitys. Their place on the HUD actualy looks like destiny's verson as their are 4 in total + a berserk mode. Edit: i want anyone who has played rage 1 to keep in mind rage 2 is a different experience from rage 1. Rage 1 is linier and side content is optional. Rage 2 not only encourages u to enjoy the open world but its actualy required u do some side content to progress phases of the story. This divergence in game design is probably where much of the negative reviews come from. I dont think outer worlds fans would find it fun if outer worlds 2 suddenly played like doom. Which is pretty much what happened. If ur looking for a enjoyable open world shooter where u can come back and relax and just kill stuff even after completing the story. Ull like rage 2. Side note: Weapons and powers can be found in arks spread across the world. Id advice unlocking at least some of these weapons and powers before the final fight. They arnt required but they help greatly.
I've just barely started in on the game, but it's been a fun ride so far. Next up comes some serious gameplay as the "open world" aspect of this early effort at the genre unfolds.
I went in with very very low expectations. Finally played it. I LOVE avalanche engine games and the studio behind it. Pleasantly surprised as i could not get into RAGE 1. This was just one mega playground to have fun with. Ran beautifully too
