Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Good game
This game is...relatively short. It took me about 11 hours to beat the main story, and I really do wish they built more up. Unlike RAGE 1, this game actually has a cohesive story, but what the game makes up for in story it lacks in any real content. I only would recommend this game because if a few factors, those being; -The gunplay actually being good. -The movement feeling much more smooth. -The enviroments actually looking more unique. Really this game could've used some more development time, but overall it isn't objectively bad. It has some fun abilities that you can pull off, but with every upside it has an equal downside. I really do wish I could select neutral for it. Also, do not attempt to play this game on Ultra Nightmare. It's genuinely not balanced and even with the maximum upgrades you will still be one shot by most enemies. I understand the whole "Get Good" mindset, but with the lack of any real way to negate damage or any way to cheese at long ranges like in RAGE 1, it's just unneeded pain.
Well, first of all, I do like Bethesda games a lot. They just appeal to me. However, I am not some ignorant fanboy either. It's indeed not a bad game, but it's lacking some core elements that could easily had been added to the game to make it a superb shooter RPG game. Rage 2 is like online shooter Valorant married to "Mad Max" singleplayer game, you have skills you can do and such, skills that made Valorant more funny to me personally than CS2 etc. Sadly there are too many cheaters and smurfs in online games, so I skipped them entirely. I learn quickly etc. and just because I played a few hours in online games and is pretty good doesn't mean that I cheat, that's another problem in online shooters, their anti-cheat sucks if they can't even separate cheaters from legit players? The game grew on me the more I played, I found it a bit boring in start(compared to take Starfield, until I found weapons and abilities), I guess I felt some lack of reason to do stuff(but later you realize, that you really need upgrades for harder difficulties, I started on hard and then did ultimate nightmare in new game plus). Take the vehicles, there is actually no reason to get them, you cannot buff any other cars than phoenix car. It's just a strange element imo(you can farm money yeah, but...). All the cars should have some unique stuff or else they should be equal or? A reason to be there. What I like: - I absolutely love the skills, how I can mix them(the void thing is delicious in expansion), combo them with weapons, environment etc. I like that action. The skills mixed with weapons, dodge etc. actually makes you able to do a lot of stuff compared to many games where you press the same two keys over and over. I think, I will miss these skills when I go back to Starfield(new expansion 04-07-2026), there is literally no challenge in Starfield.... - You can have the difficulty that suits you. I did NG+ Ultra nightmare. The ultimate nightmare is actually challenging, if you don't dodge, play smart, you die. However, if you prepare well it should not be a problem. - The zones, the wasteland, reminds me of "Mad Max" etc. I liked that game too. I in general just love open world RPG games. That freedom to just drive/fly where I want to. - New game plus, all RPG games should have new game plus imo. Bad stuff: - No character customization. - There are too few choices in the story etc. where most RPG games allow you to join a faction and such stuff. Or make some choices that impacts your story(if you compare to take Starfield, Baldurs Gate 3). Also a quite short story. - No gear loot, is it missing? Both yes and no, there are good and bad things about gear in games, but since it's singleplayer we can always just farm gear etc., I would say it's that RPG element that makes it even more funny, if I compare to take Starfield. A chance to get something rare and awesome - now that I played Rage 2, I actually prefer combat in Rage 2 compared to Starfield, the skills and such. - Point in vehicles? We can't do anything with them. Seems completely pointless except for icarus and the MC, and for farming money. - We don't have any house or place where we live in the wasteland, we can design, something that is our own, but then again, there is no gear or stuff to save, decorate etc. so. Many RPG games allows us to make our own home, Cyberpunk 2077, BG 3, Starfield, Fallout and many more. - Graphics are bad when looking at NPC people, their faces and such and I played on ultra, environment, weapons are okay/great, especially golden skin. I know the game is old and I play it in 2026, graphics are in general also lesser important if the game is super funny/well made. Take, I played "Grim Dawn" from this Indie corporation and it's a really great game. Lots of people are still playing old World of Warcraft in 2026 even though graphics are terrible.... - There is no real sniper, it's more like a "blaster", still a strong and nice weapon though, and I used it a lot. - Why does every NPC have chinese rice hats? xD - just asking. - Enemies are quite predictable, but well, then you can learn too. If you get hit in ultra nightmare you die. On the other hand, most "strategy" is pretty obvious which is fine for me, "I should probably hit this blue thing" etc. - Not sure if it's third party or something else, but game sometimes crashes, you can't take screens on Steam, graphic bugs and I get some message about not being able to open the file, it's probably this damn windows 11.... - A bit strange there is no use for rare resources once you upgraded everything fully. - Why did dev's add cheats? Lol. Purpose? Game isn't that hard etc. What is the fun in it? /puke. I pretty much viewed the BFG 9000 as ez mode. I refused to use it at certain times even when I could. Only important time is at last boss when he spawns the two nasty robots, they are very nasty on ultra nightmare. I bought the game for around 5 euros on sale. I think it's a really great game for 5 euros and I got a free expansion too. What I don't like is that I have to buy the skeleton expansion on Bethesdas own store thing. Just add it to steam? Now I can't do 100 % completion..... I give the game 8.2/10, I think it's good and it could had been really really great too, sadly some elements seems rushed, almost "AI" made etc. probably why it can feel boring/generated in start. I do miss gear, Tmogger, that RPG element, and if there was a reason to farm the mutant TV show thing etc. such stuff other than skins. Some tweaks and changes and this game could had been on level with Borderlands, Fallout, Starfield, GTA, Cyberpunk 2077 and other similar games. I quickly got tired of looting toilets in Borderlands tbh. That game is disgusting for the sake of it etc. Also hilarious when you look at "hog" enemies, they have tiny ♥♥♥♥♥ everywhere xD....I mean who got that idea, lol....
man this plays awesome on the steam deck i got it on sale from blk friday its like mixed between borderlands and gears of war vibe and it looks good on the steam deck oled
MEEHHHHHHH.... the first one was so much better. This feels like it has alot of potential from what the first started out as, buuttttt looks like a clone to madmax in visuals and mapscaping and the random empty looting areas for exploration.. but a crappy version of borderlands with forgetfull characters and a very short story that once it starts to get traction.... just ends when your finally invested and grabbed the upgrades to shread the baddies. EXTREMELY glad I didnt pay anywhere near the full price for what repetative content its full of and lacks in soul. To call it Doom or a doom free roam is a joke. Doom was actually fun this was subpar and tediously boring at most.. wait till its $5 if you want to waste your time on this AAA dogwater.. Sad to see it turn to utter slop. A good time waster for sure but nothing special in anyway or form.
