[h1]Finalmente un giochino vecchio stile[/h1] ✅✅💀 In questi anni di continua evoluzione videoludica, sulla costante progressione stilistica e tecnica dei videogiochi, dove ogni titolo è diverso ma uguale nella sua forma, si sentiva la mancanza di qualcosa vecchio stile senza pretesa di essere di più: un piccolo gioco indipendente ambientato in un mondo cartonoso con un level design semplice ma di impatto e un protagonista banale ma memorabile; stiamo parlando proprio di [b]Pumpkin Jack![/b] un action platform 3D stile MediEvil dove il famoso spirito errante è stato ingaggiato dal Diavolo in persona come suo campione nella lotta contro un umano-mago eletto dal popolo come salvatore dell'umanità. La trama è dritta: si inizia con uno scopo e si termina portandolo a casa, niente colpi di scena o evoluzione del personaggio; Jack rimane cattivo dall'inizio alla fine e la battaglia contro l'umano è la sola corrente narrativa presente. Il Level Design non è nulla di troppo ricercato: verticalizzato il giusto e con ottime sessioni platform alla Crash Bandicoot... peccato per dei controlli alquanto scivolosi e poco reattivi che ci porteranno alla morte più e più volte; il Combat System prende particolare ispirazione dal già citato MediEvil e il campo armi si amplia progredendo nella storia... ma alla fine quella che conta è sempre l'ultima sbloccata in quanto più potente delle precedenti. In finale un gioco che non eccelle ne vuole farlo: ottimo passatempo e perfetto salto nel passato, a quando i titoli venivano sviluppati concentrandosi solo sull'idea di partenza e sul divertimento generale; per essere stato sviluppato (inizialmente) da una persona sola, possiamo dire che il risultato finale è notevole: nessun bug, crash o glitch da segnalare, nessun intoppo di programmazione o errore, il titolo si lascia giocare in totale spensieratezza e divertimento. Consigliato.

A very decent game for it's money, perfect for halloween lovers. It's honestly impessive, the game itself is pretty simple but yet enjoyable, the story is also pretty good, either way you should play this game, you won't be dissapointed

O jogo é curto e fantástico. Qualquer idade pode se divertir bastante com ele. Em promoção ele fica bem barato (R$8,00) mais ou menos. Sendo assim, por questão de tempo x diversão, vale a pena o investimento.
It is a very fun game, simple mechanic and nice story, considering the small team what they did is really impressive from art style to the story. I think some parts can be a bit off compared to the flow of the mechanics, like tedious at times, however by no means is a super difficult game overall. If you like this type of art-style, Halloween mixed with Christmas, it is a really good and fun game!

Pumpkin Jack ist einer der besten Plattformer, die ich bis jetzt erleben durfte. Ich liebe die Atmosphäre, die Steuerung ist einfach und angenehm, das Storytelling ist mega, sowie die Story an sich und die Dialoge sind erste Sahne. Die Kämpfe sind auch für Leute mit zwei linken Tatzen zu schaffen^^ Es ist wirklich ein top Spiel und gerade für 3 Taler im Sale. Kauft es auf jeden Fall, wenn ihr Interesse habt. Es lohnt sich :3

This game feels like a licensed platformer you fished out of the bargain bin in the early 2000s. The platforming is as basic as you can go just a double jump not even a run. The combat is just one button and a dodge roll but it is pointless anyway because any object you break heals you, so even if you just tank hits you will heal back to full right after every fight. The collectibles just exist to slow you down and stretch out the already boring experience. However it isn't all bad, the vehicle sections (boat, minecart, horse etc.) are fun about half the time and the bosses are decent.
