Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The charm of this game is unmatched by most games today. The characters, the conversations they have when the player isn't even interacting with them makes the world feel lived in and not just a boring platforming hub. Also, the game can be a little clunky at some points, but it is a 20 or so year old game, so it is perfectly excused.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game and Beyond Good and Evil were on my backlog for over a decade. Both persisted in gaming pop culture, constantly reminding me I needed to play them. When I finally did play them in the mid 2010s neither of them resonated with me. They both seemed clunky and unpolished compared to the best platformers and action games of their time. I did enjoy this game more than Beyond. It had something memorable about it. Its design is a little more varied, its setting a little more polished. Maybe it's was an atmosphere thing. Something made it stand out more though. That was back on PS4 which played an emulated version of the original PS2 game. Since then I've come to learn that the PS2 version was a bit compromised. It didn't run very well. It had bugs. It was not the ideal version when compared to the XBox version. So I figured I might have a more positive experience playing this PC version on modern hardware. I did encounter a few bugs here and there which required a restart to escape, but overall it was a pretty stable experience. And it looks fantastic at 4k 120fps. Playing older games like this never fails to impress me. It lets the assets shine in the most favorable of lights. The art style in this game is not my favorite--I'm not a huge fan of the ugly deformity style, but at the very least it's unique. The voice acting is stellar, and the writing is ok, if not super comedic to me personally. What impresses me most about this game is the diversity in it's level design. It doesn't control or render itself particularly well, and Raz has just about the most sluggish and awkward double jump I've ever experienced, but every single level has a unique and entertaining concept. That, paired with the idea of each level taking place inside a different character's deranged mind, is incredibly fun. The Napoleon Bonaparte level alone is worth playing through this game. The gameplay is not the most engaging. There's a billion little pieces of ♥♥♥♥ to collect, so if that's not your thing, steer clear. Raz doesn't control anywhere near as well as Mario or Sonic or any of the other standard defining characters of the time. I have a harder time judging depth in this game more than any other game in existence for some reason. But returning to this world with some familiarity with the characters was enjoyable to me, so it's a recommend.
Graphics hold up fairly well, due to the early 2000s 'ugly asymmetric cartoony' visual style working well with PS2/3 era technology. The game is quite small and rather short, and compared to slick modern post-CoD games, combat and controls aren't great. The game's irreverent, chaotic, and somewhat immature humor still holds up, and the overall idea of a zelda-like where instead of dungeons you go inside people's minds remains fantastic. Got it on sale for one dollar and couldn't be happier.

great game
the best game i played this year everything was pure fun even dialogues my rate 9.5/10 and i can't wait to play 2
