Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Awesome storyline with a compelling narrative. Great sense of adventure and plenty of sidequests to complete. Being a 20+ year old game makes this even more impressive!! Well implemented controller support.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

So good that immediately after beating it, I played it again from the top!
Some interesting ideas, but mostly just frustrating gameplay with too many interruptions. Not as funny as it's trying to be.
Рекомендую! Это моя игра детства.
nao funcionou nem no teclado/mouse e muito menos no controle, 100% bugado.
I decided to pick up Psychonauts after reading multiple good reviews and having heard it being mentioned a few times in contexts I can't remember anymore. I also immediately got some sweet, nostalgic 2005 PlayStation 2 vibes, even though I was completely new to the series! Psychonauts introduces its world of psychics with their very recognisable looks and characteristics while still keeping everything anchored to the real world. The story holds a steady, medium pace until it speeds up a bit towards the end – a fun little escapade that doesn't take itself too seriously. The main attraction though is in my opinion the characters who both drive the story and make the world feel extremely alive. Every time you progress with the story you're also able to check up on how everyone is doing, what they're up to and also read the public noticeboard where everyone leaves messages. Showing items or using different abilities on people also provides unique comments and reactions. The gameplay is what you would expect from your typical action-platformer. Though this time your arsenal consists of a host of psychic powers ranging from invisibility and levitation to clairvoyance and mind bullets. (That's telekinesis, Kyle!) The powers, while cool, are more than slightly hampered by the fact that you can only slot three of them simultaneously. Changing between powers is quite fast and pauses the game, but I would still vastly prefer if some of the unutilised buttons, double tapping or holding a button could be mapped to different powers. Having to constantly choose between slotting defensive, offensive or utility powers feels clunky and also increases the confusion between what button does what – even if you generally attempt to keep abilities on their respective buttons. Combat was in the end quite simplistic; neither more nor less than what you would expect from a mostly platformer title. Though some enemies were in my opinion more annoying than challenging, doubly so for most boss fights. This was in part due to a moderately clunky camera that is fixed on the boss during fights and being unable to alter attack direction during a combo. There was some occasional jank with the platforming as well, where the worst offender was sliding on (mostly) rails. Ratchet & Clank did this much better a few years earlier while here going a bit too fast, too slow or just trying to correct direction would often get you thrown down to your death. Meanwhile you're also for some reason glued to the rails and have a terrible time trying to jump off when the need arises. Most benches and some other objects are for some reason treated as rails as well, so you'll be inadvertently going for a slide every now and then. The height of annoying platforming was the final level, though I'll be generous and grudgingly put some of it down to my own thickness. One thing I can assert is that collectibles are far too abundant in Psychonauts: there's well over a thousand floating, two-dimensional, flickering holograms to find. Most of them will be on the main path, but there's always a few hidden ones, and even the ones in front of you sometimes blend in when the lighting and background is also colourful and moving. Some more unique collectibles with their own descriptions were fun to hunt, but the vast amount of the more generic ones became a bit of a pain, even when used as part of the environmental storytelling. In the end, I only got frustrated enough to look up a guide regarding three out of over a thousand collectibles, so I guess you could call that manageable. The reward for getting every single last collectible of all types (besides unlocking upgrades faster) is a single cutscene, so you could just skip the majority of the grind. In theory at least. I continued my stint of not looking at achievements – not even the non-hidden ones – before finishing the game, and was pleasantly surprised when I managed to get almost all of the missable ones through thorough exploration. The only offender was a seasonal achievement only available on one day of the whole year, which had to be dealt a swift counter-blow through system time. I've seen some achievements bound to real-world dates before, which I already haven't looked well upon, but tying it to a single day of the year when you're already most likely doing anything else than booting up Psychonauts is taking it two steps two far – in my humble opinion. Other than that, the achievements nicely encouraged exploring and interacting with the world. All in all, Psychonauts is another distinct and fun title from Tim Schafer and the folks over at Double Fine. The atmosphere is kept very family friendly while still keeping it interesting and providing something for everyone to enjoy. You'll meet a whole cast of fun characters that you'll love and/or cringe at, but they'll all feel alive!
8,5 / 10
