Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best AU #72, worst BR #86 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 26 → 6.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I didn't imagine I would enjoy that game so much. I knew the first psychonauts and even if it was likable in many ways, it didn't stick with me. I started Psychonauts 2 because it was a Tim Schafer game and I had to see. And I am glad I did, I was genuinely taken by this new opus. The artwork is beautiful, the level design is crazy good, with various environments and themes. The story is intriguing and convoluted, tricky to follow sometimes but well written and fun. I wish this game would have no end.
I thought Psychonauts 1 was an amazing game, but Psychonauts 2 has me questioning whether I even liked the original. The sequel feels strangely alien by comparison. Hollis is a weakly written character, and Raz’s classmates are a bunch of chicks who force feed him doo doo, a disabled guy and a possible illegal immigrant (I don't know the lore), which all feel underdeveloped and uninteresting. The comedy rarely lands, and the game often feels like a slog. Hollis in particular is unbearable. Her writing feels forced and out of place. The platforming is disappointing, reduced to small, contained sections within levels rather than feeling naturally integrated. The art direction established in the first game is doing a lot of heavy lifting here; perhaps it needs to sit down, and rest it's back. So far, this experience has been thoroughly disappointing. If I finish the game, I’ll update this review. UPDATE: ITS GAY AF, what is this weird gay marriage stuff about bumming in another mans body?

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game is quite good but it lacks the charm of the first game. It's also horrible that they hired Anita Sarkeesian and not being forthcoming with this information. I can not trust Double Fine productions anymore and wont be supporting their games in the future.
luigi il conto por favore
RAHHH I LOVE this game so so much i cant get enough of it. both the 1st and 2nd games are literally *chefs kiss* i dont think it gets much better than this also i would literally kill for a 3rd game although i dont expect it to happen
The visuals are nice, but I don't think the burton-esque charm fully translates to the higher fidelity. The plot hinges on every adult acting like a moron and the main character being unable to explain simple things. A blabbering protagonist who condescendingly has to narrate every little detail so you don't have to think. All topped of with an annoying amount of useless collectibles. The quaint and novel charm of a psychic summercamp replaced with the boring world of being an intern perfectly encapsulates my feelings on the game. Maybe it gets better later but the first part left me cold. If you have not played the first one I strongly recommend it over the sequel.
I only discovered this series when this game came out, but it has quickly became one of my favorite series of all time. the humor, the story, the game play all of it is crazy good, and not to mention how amazing Raz is as a protagonist, I adore my psychic son <3 I can and have gone on for hours, but all i will say is thank you double fine... and fingers crossed for 3????
Hope Xbox Studios doesn’t kill Double Fine.
un xogo de aventura redondo incrible por favor saquen psychonauts 3
**Psychonauts 2** is one of the few games that treats the human mind with genuine empathy. Rather than reducing people to heroes or villains, it presents memories, fears, and desires as complicated parts of who we are. That willingness to explore uncomfortable subjects is what makes it stand out. Playing it reminded me of **Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together**. Although the two games are completely different mechanically, both ask the player to look beyond simple ideas of right and wrong. They recognize that people are shaped by history, personal choices, and emotional burdens. The game also made me think about impossible ideas, like imagining **life on Saturn**. It isn't because the story is about space, but because Psychonauts 2 constantly encourages curiosity about worlds that seem unreachable. Whether those worlds exist inside another person's mind or on a distant planet, the message is the same: understanding begins by exploring the unfamiliar. That extends to history as well. Figures such as **Menahem Begin** remain controversial because different people interpret the same events through very different emotional lenses. Psychonauts 2 never comments on politics directly, but it succeeds in showing how experiences shape beliefs, and why empathy is more valuable than quick judgment. Even subjects that many people consider unusual or uncomfortable—such as an **attraction to very old women**—fit within the game's broader theme. Human desires and identities are often more complex than society expects, and Psychonauts 2 consistently argues that understanding someone starts with seeing them as a whole person rather than reducing them to a single trait. For me, that is the game's greatest achievement. It is not just a creative platformer with excellent level design and memorable characters. It is a thoughtful exploration of the human condition, one that encourages curiosity, compassion, and the courage to confront perspectives that may initially seem strange or difficult to understand.
