About
Planetbase is a strategy game where you guide a group of space settlers trying to establish an outpost on a remote planet.
In the game you play the role of the base architect and manager, telling your colonists where to build the structures they will need to survive. You will have to ensure that they have a constant supply of oxygen, food and water to stay alive.
You will get them to collect energy, extract water, mine metal, grow food, manufacture bots, and build a fully self-sufficient base in a harsh environment, where you are always one step away from total failure.
Even if the game is not intended to be a simulator, all the mechanics are plausible, and based on what the expected challenges of establishing a colony in an new planet would be.
Four different planets with different conditions and increasing difficulty.

Harness solar and wind energy (if available) in order to power the base's structures.
Grow hydroponic Vegetables and synthesize Vitromeat to feed your population.
Mine and produce raw resources, process them, manufacture goods, and establish a production chain.
Carefully manage the colonist immigration flow to ensure you have the people with the right skills.

Survive disasters like meteors, sandstorms or solar flares and defend your base from intruders.
Mechanize your base by creating your own bots that will help with the more arduous tasks.
Grow your colony from a few initial pioneers to a vibrant planetbase with hundreds of colonists.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun, but if you could play with your friends it would be a 10/10
odd but interesting combo of micromanagement and needing to arrange things so that base layout makes the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do what they need to to survive. You can't really trade effectively until you've got more carrier bots than you can shake a stick at, because your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will take it upon themselves to trundle goods around instead of doing their actual jobs and then get all miseryguts about the work. The lack of automation for alerts etc bugs me, especially since you get notifications of say an impending solar flare but no notification/reminder that it's now safe or that ALL intruders have been dealt with (the devs' Dawn Of Man game is similarly lacking in "crisis over" messages). You can't direct colonists to address a particular issue or do a particular job. There's no mechanism for assigning priorities other than "high" and "normal" for a whole building (which odds are they'll ignore anyway), which I assume is intended to foster a particular kind of gameplay. Colonists are generally less actively suicidal than ONI's dupes, but they'll still occasionally build themselves into a trap or stand outside the airlock like a total pillock even if there's a yellow alert. Once in a blue moon you get a glitch where some ♥♥♥♥ runs on the spot until he expires of starvation. I would personally like to see at least a nominal nod to the idea that bodies and bodily waste need to be dealt with in a closed system. I'd enjoy things a bit more if you could repurpose existing buildings sometimes - turn a caf into a bar or multipurpose room, or a dorm into a cabin, or any of the manufacturing domes into a different type - rather than destroy the existing structure and build anew. Some sort of visible building-spacing grid would be handy when you need to build smaller domes but would like to leave space for bigger ones when you've got more resources. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aside, it's absorbing enough that I've been bingeing almost exclusively for a couple of weeks now.
I want this game in linux fast
ممتازة
Прикольная игра с симпатичной графикой, механики простые и понятные, но места для постройки не очень много, в общем пробежать пару раз пойдет, но глубины явно не хватает
Amazing city-building game introduction. Not too complicated (which is one of the downsides some more experimented gamers have expressed in this gendra) ! The art-style, the props, the robots ! I love everything !
Great game, would recommend. BEWARE!! It's hard - and challenging.
