Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very fun game
its good
IT'S THE GREATEST :)
Pretty good. Little rough on released but they have really made the game good now. Game runs great. Definitely worth it on a sale. Plus the new Water park feature is fun, just wish it had more to it.
Kabeelah!
Here are my reasons for not liking Planet coaster 2. The original game was pretty fun..., but this game.... is not better. I've been playing Coaster sims for over 20 years but suddenly after getting this game i am calling it quits..... here is why. Originally, I started out playing Roller Coaster Tycoon as a kid, Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 2 and 3, Parkitect then Planet Coaster, And now I'm on to Planet Coaster 2. So far according to Steam i have played 33hrs on my pc.............and this strange thing keeps happening to me........ no matter how many times I play the game, every time I start playing, this sense of overwhelm & dread comes over me and almost immediately so i exit the game. So what are my thoughts...... Well first I feels like i am playing Planet coaster 1 all over again except a crappy version, for example the flat rides are virtually unchanged (except for a small number of new ones) from the original game just re-skinned. The coaster building omg, the camera angles are just bouncing all over the place, i can barely stand it. Some of the new elements they added like power generators not fun to deal with, just additional things to worry about. I hate the way the interface feels it really grinds my gears. The dlcs are bland hardly any new rides no only that some things dont even work right. there is too much to list. So in conclusion i would say this, It seems to me that what started out being a passion project with a cult following turned into something else, almost as if the original developers left the studio and or for some reason lost interest and moved on but then later decided to release a sequel but without passion and creativity, they replaced it with profit and corporate interest which resulted in a very bland difficult to stand playing, kind of game. Seriously frontier why did you even waste your time and ours. Its sad, the world has changed, things aren't the same anymore in 2026, gaming is no different. Its time to hang it up. Im through, thanks a lot for nothing.
Amazing game, that keeps getting better. Earlier reviews were critical of a lot of issues that have been fixed. This game is like none other. The sheer breadth of what you can do is astounding. Want to play it just like a more basic sim, as a more modern version of RCT? No problem. Want to go incredibly in depth and build the park of your dreams? Also no problem. I rarely buy mainstream games at full price anymore. And I almost never buy DLC. Usually I only do that for indie games, because it’s worth it as you can feel the passion that went into making it. Planet coaster 2 is the exception to my rule, I had the deluxe version on day one and I have bought every DLC too. Because you can feel the love and passion here too. Amazing work by the devs for all the content and customizability they have built in AND SOMEHOW IT EVEN RUNS WELL ON STEAMDECK!
