NO MANS LIE Game dev lied and milked more money from fans of the game, all to just give up and shill for his new MMO. Dad came back without the milk 10 years later and we wish he never did!
Devs return after abandoning the game for 7 years and is banning anyone who is worried about their return and calling it rumors and lies. Game itself is fun and completely unfinished. They only are reviving it so they can drop a sequel that they will abandon aswell. (They have abandoned 2 games so far) STAY AWAY.

The dev is a bit of a clown. Was sharing his emotional issues in all of the update posts (which thankfully he's stopped) and continues to ban people from the discussion forums for seemingly no reason. While the game is indeed being updated again, he has been adding many rushed, ridiculous "features" that don't really add anything except in game hassle. None of these are fleshed out in the slightest, and seem to be just repeatedly piled on in the guise of 'content'.
Looking at the developer updates and activity tab, it seems like he is trying to scam the last remaining supporters out of their money with a ponzi-scheme. "Pixel Piracy Online" is in development, so this game is most likely dead. His other game: "IAH: INTERNET WAR" actually looked promising and like a polished/good game, but this game is a major dissapointment, it was fun when it first came out. Safe your money and beaware of the developer.
The game was abandoned in 2016, suddenly dev returns in 2023 with a "full release" and a paid DLC valued on half price of a full game. ♥♥♥♥ you. @edit. Steam has marked this review as "Pre-Release review" because i did not run the game after fake ass release and added a description "This review may not accurately reflect the stare of released version". Well. I run the game, does it change anything about dev disappearing for at least 6 years, released half baked product with a DLC (that is a clicker apparently) and costs half of whatever dev is asking for the base game? There should be a place in prison for people like you.
i am an eastern european and every pirate ship i fight is an unstolen 2011 ford focus
abandoned by a scummy scammy dev who tries to quick rich money grab
devs spilled coffee over their one dev pc that then accidentally published the game, and then they just said screw it, and let it stay like this.
Jesus,看看我看到了什么,扑街一万年的游戏居然更新了! 既然这样,求个Chinese不过分吧。
I find this update very suspicious and after reading review by Pimp Shrimp I think we should be very careful. Here is review by Pimp Shrimp: "Was abandoned for ~7 years in a broken mess. Sadly, because it was an otherwise fun game. Developer has recently returned and is claiming to do bug fixes and some content adding - would be great, but they are going crazy with moderation in the steam forums. Shutting down anybody who even appears to slightly question their motive. The developer also increased the price after their first bug fix... a bug fix for a broken 8 year old game... that doesn't really warrant a price increase of nearly 100%. They responded to this criticism by more moderation and saying "it is a fan service" and that they didn't have to even fix bugs at all... Also rather random update of the store header to a picture of George Floyd. I wouldn't really care much, only somebody asked about this in the forum and the developer replied with "Stop lying" or something like that - bit weird. Edit: Got banned for saying the picture seemed to be George Floyd in response to somebody asking whether it was George Floyd. The dev has seemingly updated the cover art now but the old one can be seen via the Wayback Machine. This dev is quite unhinged. Can't link the pictures of him gaslighting people (by saying it was never a picture of George Floyd), the old coverart (of George Floyd) and the ban reason he gave me; again, George Floyd related. Although, going to send it through to Steam Support and see what happens. Don't support this guy, he's Domina levels of weird. In response to comments because I weirdly now cannot comment on my own review: Thanks for the Booty Steam user. @Trivane - I was actually happy at first because "better late than never," but this developer is treating his community like ♥♥♥♥♥, and looking more into his background I am almost certain he does not have good intentions. He very recently dropped a £20 game and made a "Post mortem" post basically saying "Yeah, I'm done, thanks - bye!" @Mumen Rider - The price point doesn't reflect the quality of the game whatsoever, especially after one or two bug fixes. It is a game from 2015, not a new 2023 release. @llefty - I actually saw your wayback machine post on the discussion board, the developer tried gaslighting you by saying "who is this character?" So weird."
