Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
An immersive CRPG experience that shapes your character and the world. The biggest downsides are uncommon occurance of bugs and glitches (at least in my experience). I'm forced to play in turned based mode because the game seems to crash when switching to realtime combat and a cursor offset on the UI happens on occasion during combat.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

One of the best CRPGs ever made!
A game that could have become the gold standard for CRPGs if it had a slightly larger scale and funding. The main story is quite interesting, but at the same time, the main antagonist is rather dull and doesn’t live up to the hype the game tries to build around his personality. The side quests are also good; I can’t say anything bad about them. The music and environment in this game create an atmosphere of such pleasant melancholy and solitude in this place mired in crisis. The companions are okay, only Durance stands out due to his personality, backstory, and dialogue. If the game had been larger in scale, it could have been a full‑fledged successor to Baldur’s Gate 2, and perhaps even surpassed it in some aspects. Overall, it’s a pretty good game that was destined to remain in the shadow of more production‑intensive RPGs.
It had endless pathes.
好玩!
Bravo! I love this game. As an “elder” gamer, I played Baldur’s Gate 1 when it was contemporary, and though I’ve never enjoyed RTwP gameplay, I endured it because of how engrossing BG1 was. PoE had long been on my interest list, but I refrained from trying it due to the lack of true turn-based combat. When Obsidian recently updated the game to include it, I knew it was time, and I’m so glad I finally dove in. PoE was clearly made by devs who loved the original Baldur’s Gate games; it is obviously a love-letter to them. The turn-based combat is imperfect - after all, it was added to a game engine that it wasn’t intended for - but only barely so, with some minor hiccups. But that is the only complaint I can find with PoE. I’m close to end of Act 2 and everything about PoE has its hooks in me. Where BG typically had very clear “good” and “evil” choices, every choice in PoE is gray. Even the good choices have negative ramifications, and when I have the help information turned off (where it indicates which dialogue choices are “benevolent,” “cruel,” etc.) I rarely am able to determine which choice would actually be considered the “good” one. The game world - its history, lore, gods, factions, and even equipment flavor text - is so rich I thought for sure it had been drawn from an existing canon of some sort. Nope. These guys invented it for this game. For the statistical nerds, character builds offer incredible depth and variety and copious tooltips help make sense of what it all means. For those who’d rather just adventure through the excellent story beats, lower difficulty settings and automatic party leveling are there. You can enjoy this game at any depth you like. I suppose PoE shows its age in comparison to the full 3D engines of BG3, Solasta, and similar games, but for anyone who had even a passing affection for the classic isometric RPGs of days gone by, this is an incredibly well-done revival of the genre. I hear talk that PoE2 is even better. I can’t wait.
Good for me since they added turn base combat.
