The fact that this game doesnt get talked about more is weird to me. In the age where we need "stop killing games" while companies are screwing their players over in any (and I do mean ANY) way they can get away with as often as they can we have this game, originally yet another live service, always online, "lootershooter" skinnerbox with microtransactions out the ass. BUT - when the servers shut down and they couldve done the same as literally (afaik) ANY OTHER LIVE SERVICE GAME TO DATE, what did they do? They said ♥♥♥♥ it, They made the game playable offline, singleplayer, coop - using steams framework for servers, peer2peer - yknow, that thing that is apparently IMPOSSIBLE for other studios to do with the same type of games. And once their support for the game died down, what do they do? They add the ability for their players to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MOD THEIR GAME, to keep it fresh and updated for aslong as the players want it to be. Im not joking when I say this - THANK YOU Airship Syndicate for treating your players as valuable customers. I will be SURE to check out ANYTHING you do in the future, UNLIKE ANY other developer of Live service slop.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I don't write many reviews, because usually games have thousands anyway... but in the case of Wayfinder I feel like it deserves some love, and explanation. What the game was 'conceived to be' was flawed, negatively received, and reworked -- which resulted in the delivery of a different animal entirely, but it's one that shines. I'm glad that they managed to put the game out as an ARPG, despite abandoning the intent of creating a live service MMO. It's much better this way, so much so in fact, that if they did release more content I would likely buy it sight unseen. WF is a game with a sordid history, but the devs managed to take what they had and give us something truly enjoyable. I really just wish they could keep at it.. include more combos and more weapons, more armors, more skins, continue making immersive environments, and continue a story that might seem trivial on the surface but offers a lot of deep places to go... What does it mean to be yourself? To be a clone? A memory? An echo of another version of yourself? What's the difference? Those questions are more relevant than we might realize sometimes. This game is just plain fun with friends. Wait for a sale, then buy it for yourself and a buddy (or partner), and you won't be disappointed. I've gifted half a dozen copies, and purchased DLC just to contribute to the team that put this together.
This is a gem of an ARPG game. It scratches all itches in the right places. It is simply unbelievable a game this decently polished isn't being played, praised or rewarded the way it should. I believe it has a lot to do with the early access unfortunately. All I can say is I got this at a summer sale and it was a steal.
The game runs atrociously. The microstutters make this game unplayable.
My friend and i bought the game during a sales for around 3-4$, i'd say it serves its purpose. It's not a complex game and you can skip most of the dialogues and cutscenes if you want to. We jump in, kill some bosses and get out, it does have fps drops from time to time, but considering how cheap we got it for, it was totally worth it. That said, i wouldn't recommend it at full price.
Combat is simple to the point of becoming redundant within just the first few hours. Additionally if you start a hardcore character and die, when you create a new hardcore character it makes you do the tutorial again every time.
Best 5 Bucks i spend in a long time! A truly beautiful artistic style and you can play completly offline # stop killing games!
It.... It's fine. I have to review in absolutes so this is a "no" but there are caveats. Don't buy it for more than $5. It's pretty clear why this failed as a paid MMO: repetitive quests (run the same dungeon 5+ times in a row), poor implementation like losing progress due to server desync/disconnect in the current single player game version, poor gameplay feedback (everything "feels" floaty), etc. It's a good "turn your brain off and play" game for $5. It's not better than any alternative so if you're on the fence between this and another one, pick the other one.
Honestly forgot this game was supposed to be an MMO. It's great for what it is! Runs great and feels great. Need to try it out with friends though
The game is kinda Torchlight or Diablo but third person. Two evenings: that's all I can give for this title. And let me explain why: - Every mechanic that you see in this game is superficial: armor, weapon, echoes. - - Let's look at weapons for example: there's only one/two weapon types that each class can use. You can equip any other weapon, but for what reason? For instance, the void reaper guy uses a scythe – if you equip any other weapon type, you won't be able to gather resource for his first skill mechanic. Okay. We are stuck on one weapon type. But is there a variety of weapons within that type? No. There is only one scythe. And by the way, there is no weapon rarity: the devs decided to put stat buffs and unique effects into echoes that you socket into your gear. So you grind weapons only for main stats, which is boring: you don't actually get that 'happy' feeling when you get a legendary item that suits your build. You just get a weapon 5 points higher in gear score than yours. Okayge - - Armor. No armor at all – at least not in the form we're used to. Instead of 'armor' with stats, you are rewarded with 'skins' that give you a tiny bit of stat buff. Again: no rarities, no affixes, no random stats. Nothing. Okayge - - Echoes – the way you get those 'affixes' and random stats, but you can decide which stats you want to max. It's okay to be able to increase primary stats for the class you play, but in doing so you pay with that 'happy' feeling I was talking about earlier. In other games I've played, there is a possibility to reroll stats, add stats – which greatly combines with rarities. Sadly, it's not here. - Autoleveling. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate it. And if you're playing with friends, autoleveling looks really funny: - - you are level 15. You see mobs with 1500 HP. You get hit for 500 damage. - - your friend is level 5. He sees mobs with 1000 HP. He gets hit for 300 damage. Dafuq? Why doesn't it just use the highest level possible so I can speed up leveling for my friend? I find this mechanic funny. And stupid. - No trading. At all. We weren't playing that much, but when my friend got a weapon I was looking for, I really wished there was trading. Dafuq is there not? - Gameplay progression. You unlock your last (4th) skill at level 9. That's like 1 hour of game or so. And that's all. No progression after that. No new animations, no new skills. All you do is continuously spam weapon attacks because your skills are on cooldown. There is a talents tree – 1 point per level, it grants you permanent stats, and legendary ones boost your stats when you do some basic movement or use a skill, which for me is just 'granting you stats'. I find this kind of game boring. I can't see a reason why you should be playing this instead of PoE or Torchlight. Yeah, it's not 3rd person (shoulder cam, I mean), but every mechanic you compare in those games is just A LOT MORE deeper, and gameplay progression at least exists in those games
