Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game has excellent character creation flexibility; however, it starts slow with a huge lore dump which can be off-putting. Try to get over this hurdle, as eventually, the little side quests and combat itself become fun (you can tweak the difficulty to your liking). For me, the core story was tough to follow and understand. Only after completing the game did it become clear how everything ties together. This is frustrating, but nothing stops you from doing another playthrough. Note that stealing and stealth mechanics are almost non-existent. There are also bugs, particularly with movement and combat. The combat itself can become repetitive and tedious (though raising the difficulty may make it more appealing again). Finally, while most zones you travel through are well-defined, the "in-between" areas are dull and look very similar to one another.

I would recommend playing this game before the sequel, since you can load your save file from the first entry into the next one.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

turn-based system has added new life to this already great masterpiece.
An immense real-time with pause RPG with a fantastic story and plenty of strategic depth. The game offers a real challenge. Very satisfying to play and a must for fans of classic CRPGs. 100% Completion Time : 242.4H Completion Difficulty : 10/10 Playthroughs : 2 technically possible - 3 recommended Missables : Yes Guide Recommended : Yes Notable requirements : Complete the game on highest difficulty with path of the damned and trial of iron. Complete the game with fewer than 175 kill, fewer than 10 rest, without any party menber being knocked out.

Probably one of the greatest games I've played. it's definitely top 10 at least. The lore, the characters. I could not recommend this game enough, the way the layers would be peeled back slowly as you discover the events is gorgeous. And I'm still not done yet, I wanted to finish everything before the final quest. I do wish there was a tiny biiit more depth to the characters sometimes after I finished their personal quests, but honestly even the way their quests were handled is better than a lot of games out there. Play Pillars of eternity, folks! I'll finish this one, go to the second, then most likely finish Avowed.
I tried some many times. Came back for the turn-based combat beta. Still no.
Highly underrated CRPG, one of the best in the genre, but it requires some patience from the player. It took me a long time to appreciate how good this game is - although I am veteran CRPG player, starting with the Baldur's Gate series back in the day. I was initially put off by how text heavy the game is - but once you realize that the writing and world-building in this game truly is excellent, it becomes a joy to learn more about your quests, characters, factions and the world you are exploring. The combat initially also put me off because the visual representation can feel messy - but at some point I realized that the combat system is actually great, and that it is worth putting in some effort to get to grips with it. Once I did that I started enjoying the combat encounters a lot. So truly a game worth playing and getting to know. 9/10
its woke
A modern version of the old Baldurs Gate games. Story-rich game that have the same excellent roleplaying D&D vibe as the BG-games.
