Combat makes this one. A great spiritual successor to Xcom.
+
Glad to see they're still updating this 5+ years later. It's definitely a solid experience if you take the time to learn the complex systems. Recommend playing on lower difficulties without all of the dlc to start.

Cheap XCOM version
Ciao, il gioco appassiona ed è un bel cugino di Xcom , anche se non raggiunge a livello narrativo e di level design gli stessi standard. consigliato , specie ora che è stato perfezionato
Second Experience: After pushing through and NOT playing on steamdeck where most of the UI bugs seem to be present. The game is much better! It is alot to take in, and I expect I'll have to play it all the way through before understanding all the mechanics. Was confused about the air battle thing, but its a cool concept, just executed oddly. Would probably be better if it wasn't in the game. Like its a turn based tactical game, then they toss in an arcade pkmn style match with air monsters vs your poorly armed airship. I've begun to enjoy the combat, and have tweaked the respawn rules via console commands to prevent enemy units from spawning on top of me (i always hated that, but its not a ding on the game itself, just my preference) Sadly I think it's hard to recommend given you have to mod the game and play it a certain way in order to thrive. This could have been great, but somehow its missing some pieces that made xcom2 so much fun. With all that said, I think I'd say give it a try if you can, but it can be an investment to give the mod experience with "terror from the void". I think it is worth it, but I am a die hard fan of xcom2... If you are not a really big fan, this will probably be a miss (pun intended xcom accuracy algorithm) First Experience: I'm trying to like it, there are some great things in here. Right now the globe menu has too many glitches that is preventing gameplay. I just lost ~1hr of gameplay due to some bug in the geoscape where I could not use the deploy button, nor could I "save game" and restart. (typically the geoscape bugs can be fixed with a restart) Since I could not save the game, nor start any missions. I was just kinda stuck. I have a feeling anytime one of those cutscenes appears in the geoscape, it can trigger this bug? UNcertain on the pattern really... Makes it frustrating to play, then lose progress; especially in a game where procedural generation and decisions matter. It's not like you can just "replay the level", because it changes every time by design. Since I keep encountering this bug (3 times today), I have to give this a negative review sadly. The game shouldn't do this.
XCOM with a few changes. They Aiming mechanic is especially interesting and more rewarding than the roll of the dice of shooting in XCOM.
Great game. Small error can lead to massive damage to your team. The lines of sight are weird but once you get it, you'll manage somehow.
muy bueno
