About

Peripeteia is a cyberpunk immersive sim set in alternate-history Poland – a first-and-third-person game mixing shooter, stealth and RPG mechanics with an unexplored setting and original ideas.
You are Marie: a cybernetic mercenary in a post-Soviet city full of corruption and opportunity, where nations, factions and ideologies clash. You will use your wits, tact, and raw violent nature to complete tasks shrouded in conspiracy and mystery. Logic, skill and ruthless cunning win the day in an interactive world – but when that fails, a loaded gun and the ability to climb virtually anywhere, will suffice.
Levels so vast they take hours to explore. Every tower, sewer, rooftop and basement is real and reachable. No quest markers. No correct path. If you can see a ledge, Marie can grab it. Forge your own routes with a sabre jammed into a wall or a well-placed crate. Get lost. Find something no one else found. That's the point.
Over 100 weapons – Cold War surplus, prototype rarities, stolen NATO hardware. Every magazine, every bullet, every attachment exists as a physical object in your inventory. Strip enemy weapons for parts. Transfer your gear between missions. Build your stash in Marie's basement. Plan your loadout or improvise when everything goes wrong.
Hack terminals. Possess enemies. Manipulate factions against each other. Sneak through the vents, talk your way past the guards, or come in loud with a stolen PKM. Every mission is a sandbox. Your choices determine who lives, who dies, and whose flag flies over the city.
Marie is living military surplus – powerful but not invincible. Manage your implants, ration your energy, scavenge what you can. The city doesn't care about you. Its factions will use you and discard you.
An unforgettable soundtrack featuring Sewerslvt, Ed Harrison (Neotokyo, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided) and a dozen other amazing artists. Drum and bass, atmospheric ambience, breakcore. Post-Soviet brutalism rendered in the grit of the early 2000s with modern lighting. Rain on concrete. Every second of this city sounds and looks exactly as dark as it should.

An immersive sim for people who think the genre never got the sequel it deserved.

Прошел на пиратке и перепрохожу на лицензии. Абсолютный шедевр берущий за душу, в особенности атмосферой и музыкой.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game has a great direction and I can see that it will eventually be fully realized. For now it's still worth diving in for the surface level aspects (music, art, exploration) and catching glimpses of smart diegetic moves by the creators to incentivize creative play. More than happy to see whats next as well as a couple additions to the environments to make them feel a tad less barren. The primary areas are very well thought out but some of the connecting transits / corridors can feel slapdash. A bit like the devs couldn't find a way to meaningfully loop an area back so they slapped in either a long hallway or an extremely lengthy set of stairs. I'm talkin' it takes a good 5-10 minutes up these stairs with nothing happening in between the start and end of the knee-buckling trek. The writing is of note because of it's extraction of fear, disgust, or possibly hatred from the player (not to mention some characters that are a breath of fresh air from all of the cruelty). The NPCs are personified very well and I'm sure some of that is due to the great atmosphere that engulfs the world. Filthy, foreign, and propagandized. It's nice to see a game take itself seriously in a sea of irony. Lastly, the gameplay is a good amount of fun. The aforementioned lengthy hallways are a bore but the infiltrating of rival faction locations is enjoyable. A typical "quest" or "mission" will have a similar setup to many other objective-based games: Find gang leader and kill / get information -> raid the gang base -> kill or talk to the leader -> return back to the mission giver What I find appealing is the in-between. Sure you can fumble about an objective like a predestined hivemind but why not go outside what you believe the boundaries are and push a little further? Just a quick rant about modern "story" games relating to my statement above and what games like this solve: Every person is different. When I talk to someone about an experience whether it be a movie, music, or book, we have seen / heard / read the same thing. Games have the ability to be different in this sense yet the overwhelming majority of single-player games offer the same experience per person. They may tout morals yet what you do in the game reflects against them. To have more of these games that truly differ from person to person is what makes them so interesting. Play as you would and see the game react accordingly. Aside from some obvious compromises, i see this game has a great foundation and would recommend it.
Extremely janky but loads of fun if you like immersive sims, also the art direction and style is amazing. It's not for everyone, but if you're willing to put up with it id say its worth it.
Loneliness and innocence, you and I were never friends
epic game epic music i love breakcore i love sewerslvt
My general rating is a 8.9/10. I get it's a lot longer of a review, but I'm going to go try and talk about this game on as many levels as possible without any spoilers. The idea is very unique, the game plays in this oddly addictive though challenging kind of way. It doesn't really guide you around that much, some people might hate that, others might love it. I personally don't really care too much, the gameplay makes up for the little thing i dislike. Even in my time I have not played too too much of the game (I got to level 3 and I'm still playing) but I have experienced quite a few bugs such as: Items existing in the inventory and existing on the floor at the same time. It says that there is something taking up space in my inventory even though I've already dropped it on the floor. I can walk away from the item on the floor and then equip the item through my inventory of which the item will come off the floor into my hands. It's weird. And replaying an older mission removes other mission progress while in the same save. If you're on the 4th mission and then you redo the first mission then you can't play mission 3 or 4. You have to play mission 2, then 3, then 4. It's kind of odd. - Even if those two bugs are kind of annoying, this game is still in Early Access and I can't really complain. What the devs have here is incredibly good and I find it super interesting to play and experience. I really hope to see more things happen for this game because I love seeing games like this get made, this feels very unique and different from a lot of the other things that I've played. Though my only real complaints are the lighting system being really weird, and the implants feel pretty underwhelming. For example, you could be standing in a pretty well-lit environment though, just slightly in the corner and it says you are undetectable, but you could be standing in a pretty dark room, though it says that you are completely visible. And for the implants, I feel like a struggle needs to be picked here. As of now if you get an implant and you put it into your body, you still need to carry it around in your inventory. But a lot of the good implants take up both a bunch of space in your inventory, use a F1-7 button, and use up a bunch of energy. It's hard to justify invisibility if it takes up 31 slots in your inventory in an awkward shape along with it using 13.5 units of energy a second. I understand that some of those implants aren't supposed to be used all the time, and instead you should be using them in short bursts, but in my opinion they all feel really weak. It feels really weird having something get called an implant, even though it's not implanted on your person, it's implanted in your inventory, and maybe that's the direction that they were going with that, but I don't really care for it too much. The only exception to the implant slander being dual wield because it reminds me of Trepang² (Also an amazing game), but it's a passive ability that comes with a clear downside (No reloading, climbing, aiming etc), though it doesn't use any energy. And that's how I feel implants should work, some should use energy reasonably, a lot more of them should be passive with active downsides. The level design is very unique because there is so much more to every level than you would think. I advise that on the first mission of the game you wander and explore everything because that first level has so much more to it. Though that's just my opinion, I'd love to see more work get done to this game. If you can handle a little bit of jank, rough spots, and a lack of guidance, I would still totally recommend it, I've enjoyed it a lot. Additionally, the demo is only 2 GB, and any of your saves made on the demo automatically transfer over to the full game if you purchase it.
