Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In this bold turn-based RPG, where musical numbers meet thrilling combat, join pop singer Cadence on her quest for stardom.
After being shut out of the Noteworthy Song Contest, Cadence realizes that her solo act might not be enough for the judges. As she travels across Note to the Rock City of Durandis, the EDM City of Lumina, and more, Cadence fills out her band with eclectic and powerful musicians from lands afar. But something's brewing in the distance...the Harmonic Convergence is playing havoc with the world's musical energies, and dark forces are working behind the scenes to disrupt Note's natural harmonies. It wasn't in the set list, but Cadence and the others need to step up and make sure music itself still has a future on stage.

TL;DR: Come for the STELLAR music, and stay for the solid turn-based combat and fun story. People of Note is one part Brütal Legend, one part Super Mario RPG, and one part Final Fantasy. Stick with it past the first hour (it gets a LOT better). It’s a pretty standard RPG story, with a fun twist: travel around the world to assemble a party to stop the big-bad…but throw in a million music puns at 200bpm and you’ve got a handle on how the game works. It takes about 30 hours of gameplay to 100%, and I was genuinely moved by a lot of the story. Sure, it ain’t Clair Obscur, but it doesn’t need to be. I cannot stress enough how good the soundtrack is. I stopped mid-fight multiple times just to listen to the jams (the way they mix the different musical styles into each battle music is similar to Divinity/BG3). Also, the game is fully aware that it’s western-music centric, and does acknowledge that bias, which I appreciate. Solid 9/10 and well worth your time if Turn-Based Battlers are your thing!
This was a really interesting and fun game. It's turn based based RPG, but it mixes things up by adding in times attacks and turns that match your different part members' style, giving them a boost. There's several puzzles and puzzle battles that make things even more interesting. The story is very much another power of friendship tale, but not too bad. The real star of the show here is the art. The visuals, voice acting, and of course: the music. It's a freakin' musical and I am all for it. It is very much a art game more than anything and it looks and sounds amazing. This is one of the better RPGs I've played in a while and it was just a game having fun with being a game and a musical. Loved it.

Saludos !
Decent rpg and musical with some fun rhythm mechanics. Excellent soundtrack.
If you're looking for a Saturday Morning Cartoon vibe, this game has it. The world may not make a ton of sense but it's colorful and full of music. The characters are fun and the songs are actually really catchy (even if some of the slant rhymes are a bit rough). The battle system is decent and leveling isn't too much of a pain. The rhythm stuff also isn't too bad and actually would have been interesting to have it further refined. The game is not perfect. The story rushes quite a bit and the story arcs begin and end pretty abruptly. The combat is a little repetitive toward the end and especially once you've maxed out your skills and level. There isn't much to do other than the main story and a few sidequests here and there toward the end. And the visual novel storytelling kind of defies how cool the cast is and stands pretty far in comparison to the musical segments. But... you can tell the passion that went into this game (especially with the end credits song). It just feels good. I would say this reminded me of playing a PS2 RPG on a lazy Saturday. Not too hard, easy to pick up and play, and fun to look at. Despite its flaws I would absolutely recommend it.
Played for 8 hours, saved *dozens of times* manually, and automatically. Made lots of progress, got to the third story area. come back today, my files arent there. my resume game was when i was lvl 4. i stopped when i was level 12. i cant recommend a game that doesnt utilize your save files.
never got tired of spamming recharging rhythm with cadence. never
Very music nerdy. So many puns. Light and entertaining. The combat is strategic without being stressful.
