Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to Parkitect, a modern take on a classic theme park tycoon where you build and manage the theme parks of your dreams. Construct your own coasters, design an efficiently operating park that fully immerses your guests in its theming and play through the campaign. Both the campaign and the sandbox mode can be played in single player mode or cooperatively by up to 8 players building together online!
Create the perfect park for your guests! Deform the terrain, place water, build structures!
With a huge selection of decorative objects from various themes you can design your park however you want. And for more you can get custom scenery from the Steam Workshop or mod in your own!
Top off that park with your very own roller coaster! Design it yourself or choose from a number of exciting designs. Spinning, looping, launching, flying - with over 70 of the worlds most popular types of theme park rides you'll always be able to surprise your guests.
Parkitect maps are huge, yet every tile matters. Adventure park or fantasy land? Why not both? The only limit is your imagination. From the smallest details such as placing each flower pot, to designing massive roller coasters, you decide the depth of your journey.
Building is only half of the challenge! You'll need to keep an eye on the finances and guest satisfaction to stay on top, and for the first time in a theme park game the "behind the scenes" parts of your park have a meaning too! Route resources to your various shops without annoying your guests and keep the staff areas out of the public eye for the perfect immersive experience.

Build your way through a challenging campaign! 26 scenarios with unique settings will put your theme park management and coaster designing skills to the test. And there's always more - download scenarios created by the community from Steam Workshop or design your own with the scenario editor. With the landscape generator you'll create your own unique setting in no time. And if you're more of a creative player there's the sandbox mode!
Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
Worthy RCT2 modern version.
Failed silly attempt to mimic RCT/OpenRCT2 experience. Multiplayer part is a joke, there is no way to run dedicated server from the start, therefore you're buying promises on timer. Do yourself a favor and don't waste a time and money.

I love this game. Don't mistake it for a park management game, that's not what it is at heart. It's a building and decorating game wrapped in a park sim. Figuring that out took the game from great, to one of my favorites. The ability to build anything and replay parks multiple times makes it highly enjoyable. If I had to levy a complaint, it's a common one. There's a lot of content for this (especially the workshop) and little way to sort/control it. It desperately needs an undo feature and/or the right-click delete needs a confirm.
Growing up with Rollercoaster Tycoon, I thought I loved park builders until I saw Planet Coaster, and thought it was far too complicated and convoluted. I was pointed to Parkitect, which definitely looked more like my cup of tea. Not too complicated, very easy to get into, and FAMILIAR! This is essentially a spiritual successor to Rollercoaster Tycoon, and it's everything I want in a park builder without the needless amount of deep systems that Planet Coaster has. I don't mean to shut down Planet Coaster - it's a good game - but it requires way too much brainpower for what I actually want to do in a game like this. Parkitect is a loveletter to RCT, and it shows. If I had one complaint, it's I don't like the fact I have to awkwardly hide certain structures behind trees and fences because it "ruins the immersion" for guests. Sometimes I just want to build and manage, and that's the only thing that makes me feel like I HAVE to stop what I'm doing to deal with this. Other than that little nitpick, this is a fine Park builder. NOW IT SUPPORTS CO-OP??? I must get a copy for my missus. 9/10 by the way.
Certainly one of the best in its genre.
9.8 out of 10. If you played RCT growing up, this is the modern touch it deserves. All of the classic rides, attractions, research, and even food stalls are here. Include some staff management, those pesky vandal's (just pause the game when they show up), and some seriously customizable construction. Let your mind run free with design, do your best to copy real life parks, or just make something wacky and fun. An incredible amount of content for the money.
Reminds me of the time I told my parents how bored I was and a man warped out of the TV~
It's not BAD bad but it's not as good as Planet Coaster. The camera is very shonky and there's this annoying fixation on hiding your employees from the guests. Then, as with all of this stuff, the gameplay becomes "whack it to 3x speed and watch tinktonks while the game autoplays until you win."
cool themepark building game multiplayer is cool better than planet coaster
I really like this game. I have never played a park builder before and gave it a try. Before I knew it, 3 hours had gone by, and it was 3:00 AM. The multiplayer is really smooth, and I love that the devs added the ability to play co-op. You can just spend hours building a park with multiple people working on different parts.
