Fantastic game, feels like Dyson Sphere Program but with a unique vibe all its own. Unlike a lot of factory games for me this game was replayable multiple times, it doesn't make starting over because you're super pedantic a chore. Pro-tip, the technology building has 2 tabs for research. I didnt realise that til it was way late lol
Fantastic game. One playthrough took me roughly 50 hours. It is a very optimization focused factory builder where you are constantly limited by the incoming resources and have to recreate parts of your station to fit the needs of the current stage. I did not spoil myself by reading much about the game beforehand or by watching any playthroughs and therefore was challenged through the whole game. In my opinion a big part of the fun is not knowing what equipment and resources will come with the next stages of station progression forcing you to adapt over and over again.

I find the controls clunky and it remains unclear how I am to manage fundamental mechanics like outgoing rate limits elegantly and at scale.
I found this game to be organizationally challenging! It had a good balance of production, fighting enemies, discovery, science-fiction, etc. The ending left with me two choices, one of which was to escape the galaxy. No surprise there. But the other choice was an unexpected story twist. :) I enjoyed the game immensely. Since I learned how to use some features/tools/devices properly only very late in the game, I think I'll play it again and try to be...more organized on the second passthrough. There are also some things that I want to do differently. As you can see above, I played this first game for 221 hours. Wow! And it was engaging to me the whole time. Enjoy!
(I played the game at version 1.1.1.0 but it seems like there's still some significant updates happening so take that into account) Overall, a fun factory game! Took about 40 hours to complete. Reminded me quite a bit of Satisfactory but with more limited/easier/forgiving combat. Personally, I felt like the combat in Satisfactory was the worst part so I really enjoyed Outworld Station. A few areas for improvement (hopefully in future releases): * Relatively early in the game, I unlocked a planet exclusively with water + hydrogen. I never ended up making a base there because I never needed more of those resources. * I never found a good use for controlling ships. Frigates + Servitors are great but I never used ship CPU points for anything. * There were some progression balance issues toward the end. I felt like the last two stages were way easier than some earlier stages.
I really like this one, but there is a problem where too much micro is needed if you want to make everything work smoothly.
Great game, sadly it turns into AFK simulator in the endgame just waiting for ships to complete.
