Outhold is a short, strategic incremental game that blends tower defense with a deep meta-progression. Experiment with builds and find overpowered synergies to defend the dwindling fires of Outhold.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 25 → 3.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I quite like tower defence. and I like incremental. but this game feels stale and tedious pretty quick. Instead of building up incrementally at the end, it will force you into smaller builds to beat challenges- basically the opposite of incremental. The colours on the upgrade tree are a bit annoying because it's a bit difficult to see what's fully upgraded or not. I found myself constantly going over each block. It's made worse that the colours of the upgrades differ by type. I think they would be better if they just greyed out (or added opacity to) fully upgraded nodes. a couple upgrade paths felt genuinely like a downgrade, most notably with the heavy arrows for example.

at first i really loved this game, but after just a few levels and unlocks long, you can build such powerful and broken setups that the game loses most of its appeal.
A very pleasant game to sink a couple of evenings into. I liked the upgrade system - gradually unlocking improvements, and the need in the endgame to respec your upgrades to meet the goals the game sets for you. Essentially, it's a classic tower defense with nice minimalist graphics, a very laid‑back pace, and well‑thought‑out progression. Just what you need after a workday - the game never rushes you, letting you make weighed decisions at your own pace. As for downsides, the amount of content is, of course, the main one - I'd love to see more maps, tower types, upgrades, etc., but that's a point you could make about pretty much any game. I recommend it - a solid representative of the genre.
Can't beat the price point. Could have put more time in if I really wanted to push the Endless modes, but a nice little game.
Épico
Honestly, it feels like this and games like it are all made by one company overseas, and they have a bunch of shell/temp Developers/Publishers and each one is designed to last just long enough to get past the 2 hour refund window. I am starting to get really sick and tired of these games purposely being made so short. It wouldn't take more than a few minutes to make a maps and in maybe a day they could make like 50 more maps or something. It has no replay value after you "master" the short easy levels, and once you max all the upgrades there is nothing to do. It is like selling a football that is designed to disintegrate after 24 hours. It is a temporary disposable game.
