Othercide is one of those games that instantly grabs your attention — not just because it looks amazing, but because it feels different. The art direction is absolutely stunning: a world built from shades of black, white, and deep crimson, giving every scene a haunting, dreamlike atmosphere. It’s stylish without ever feeling forced, and every fight looks like it’s been pulled straight out of a graphic novel or a dark fantasy painting. The gameplay backs it up too. It’s a turn-based tactical game that really makes you think about every move. Positioning, timing, and planning ahead are everything. And then there’s the sacrifice mechanic — having to give up one of your units to strengthen another. It’s brutal, but it makes every decision feel meaningful. You actually care about your characters, which makes losing them hurt even more. What really stands out is how Othercide manages to blend emotion and strategy. It’s not just about winning battles — it’s about the constant push and pull between beauty and loss, control and chaos. Every victory feels earned, and every defeat teaches you something. Overall, Othercide is dark, beautiful, and unforgettable. It’s the kind of game that stays with you — both for its incredible style and for the way it makes you think about sacrifice and resilience.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolute gem. The art style itself is big reason to buy this game. Please, give the story a little bit of your time, its really worth to read the occasional wall of text. Also, this game is Dark Souls in turn based games imo.
游戏的美术很有特色,BOSS战音乐很棒,玩法也很有特色。
Aside from unclear description of certain skills, this game is a great experience. It's stylish, engaging and can hold on for at least 3-4 replays. Story is too on the nose and feels a bit like a teenage writing, but the general mood is great.
This game is criminally underrated. Combat is balanced to a knife's edge and the soundtrack in phenomenal.
Will I finish the game? Probably not, but I enjoy the game-play. Big fan of darkest dungeon (haven't finished it either) and really enjoy the tactics and strategy of both games.
After 30 hours : A fantastic game. 8.5/10
Great turn based strategy game, with a great dark, horror atmosphere. and it even looks amazing. It's pretty simple and straightforward, i love when things are not complicated. I enjoyed a lot, u should check it out if u are into this kinds of games. But sadly like with anything, there is a bad side, sometimes enemies attack even if they are out of the range, or just run through obstacles like there is nothing on their way. Hope devs they will fix it ) And id like to devs to add better sort and categorize options for the memories, like "show only damaging memories/supporting/etc" cuz sometimes i just scroll through the list in search of the memory i need, and just miss it which i did multiple times. Thanks for the attention, have a nice day )
The game features a unique graphical style clearly inspired by Sin City and other such movies. There is a genuine challenge, but repetitive grind holds the game back. While the boss fights are a definite highlight, the strategy in normal missions mostly devolves into staying far enough and waiting for enemies to waste their turns. It's really frustrating to lose to a boss and be forced to replay the same content. The daughters lack the distinct personalities or features needed to make you truly care about them. Additionally, you get handed way too many resurrection tokens, so you can just bring them back even after losing them. The combat mechanic of using the reserve 50 action points seems like bad design, because most of the time you don't want to use them, but are tempted to. It would have been better if the system had been more flexible (like if you use 25 AP only during a turn, the next turn comes faster than if you use 40 AP). 7.5 / 10 solid game.
