Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's great outside of the fact that it kinda forces you to play wide and pick specific techs to fight corruption or even be able to exist after certain point, but the management of family and administration is still better than the Rome 2 bs (slightly) Combat is great... if the units don't just wait on the side and flank or change rows unpromptet between turns (I didn't spend too much time figuring it out tho). Balance is alright, but early game could use some more variety Economy is solid once you figure out the markets and production properly, but it could be better if it wasn't just about building one of each economy building and there were some ratios and actual values involved to spread it around or influence neighbouring markets (where having high culture would matter) instead of guesswork or looking at what others figured out. I feel like it gets 100 times better in multiplayer and some roleplay, but it's just a guess for now

This game should get an Oriental Empires 2. We want more DLCs. This is by far one of the newest and freshest additions to strategy games. The diplomatic system lets you offer money, exchange prisoners, settlements, armies, and more. You have to expand and grow your settlements while keeping the population happy. The game is incredibly addictive, yet still feels realistic. It belongs among the greats like Age of Empires 2 and IV, Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour, and even Chess. I feel like I now understand strategic ideas I didn’t before, such as succession and the importance of leadership.
