Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Quelle oeuvre ! Quelle ambiance ! Quelle DA ! Certes il a son lot de défauts dont un début très, trèèès long (les 10-15 premières heures étaient assez pénibles) mais la suite en vaut clairement la peine
The soundtrack is absolutely amazing. the storyline is fun. the intro can take a bit of time, but still totally worth it. plus, who wouldn't want to run around as a wolf god? its just overall a fun game.
I really wanted to like this game but I can't even really recommend Okami, because, despite the art being a really unique and beautiful Japanese scroll style, it just didn't hit the mark for me. I found that I had to force myself to play it and I didn't even finish it. It felt tedious and often I found that I had little direction so I wandered around for awhile looking for hints because I didn't want to google the solution. It didn't control very well and I hated the fact that I couldn't run whenever I wanted, you had to start off slowly and only after a little while would Ameturasu start sprinting, which was also annoying to control. It overall made movement very slow and tedious. Also, and this might be a small gripe, I would have liked that when you created flowers and plants through your painting ability that they would not disappear. It made the game look more bland and as though we weren't actually making that much progress in bringing the land back to life-it was boring grass and a few cherryblossom trees. I would have liked to see more of a lush, vibrant, colourful environment as we move through the game. I couldn't force myself to finish it because I just wasn't having fun, and coming to the 15-ish hour mark of the story I was feeling like the game was overstaying its welcome. I was ready for an ending that seemed like it was coming but then it didn't and I had no interest in continuing. I read that this game, despite being an artistic masterpiece, played a major role in bankrupting the studio that created it, Clover. Though I really didn't care for it, it certainly didn't deserve the poor reception it got, because it wasn't all bad. It just wasn't for me.
The first time I played this was on the good old PS2. At the time, I had little understanding of English so I couldn't follow the story, but the gameplay and visuals impressed me enough that I finished it anyway. It instantly became one of my favorites. Fast forward to the Steam launch, and I knew I had to grab it day one. And oh boy... this thing impressed me even more the second time around! The Celestial Brush offers so much creative freedom, and unlocking new techniques to access hidden areas adds a satisfying Metroidvania-style progression. The art direction has aged like wine; for a PS2-era game, it is still visually stunning. The story is unique, heavily inspired by Japanese mythology. You play as the reincarnation of the sun goddess Amaterasu in wolf form. While the plot is a classic 'save the world from darkness' tale, the game doesn't take itself too seriously, it's full of silly characters and funny moments. That is, until the ending... the ending hits hard. This game is a gem. Can't wait for Okami 2!
MUITO BOM
an old school adventure game its pretty okay for its time, however the forced view angle was horrible buggy brush control, long useless dialogue at times but not the needed hints, liked the art style
Waka is so hot why can't he be real WHY
