Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I played octopath traveler I & II a couple of years back, and since I enjoyed them, I wanted to see what this third installation had to offer. I can say that if you enjoyed I & II, you'll enjoy this as well. The core aspects like meeting new companions, travel the world and getting that sense of wonder when new parts of the world in terms of new citys bustling with their own life and side quests are intact, and the new aspect of building your own town and watch it grow, with new buildings and new people, is a good addition to the game and it donsen't take long before time just flies away. I'll recommend the game because of these aspects, as they are truly enjoyable! Unfotunatly, the game has some major weaknesses: The games has always had a strong narrative with well writen characters you enjoyed to follow on their travels during the game. This game has that too, but: There are simply to many characters, whereas one or two are so far from well written, that their actions and dialog becomes cringy and very irritating and, not least, frustrating in the long run. The reason for this is that the games third act looses pacing, because it drags on and on, while giving center stage to these cringy characters, and that suddenly makes the fast forward or skip button your best friend. It's a shame that the game is so pollarised, but the overall good thing is - it makes you wanna replay octopath traveler I & II, and for that I still recommended it!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautiful
While it's probably my least favorite entry from the Octopath series, it's still fairly enjoyable and fun imo. I love the combat system and the exploration feels fun, as with OT1 and 2. Not a bad place to start the series either. Though fair warning, THIS IS A LONG GAME. There's so much content that it honestly feels overwhelming, i bought this on launch and still haven't completely finished it because i got burned out after the first chapters of the bestower (late game) arcs
好玩但是...
意思开局主角亲爹把主角养父养母鲨光了
帕蒂斯没有一刀给二王女一刀剁死真可惜了,不过结局还是好玩
After fully playing through this game, I would really recommend it. The start is a bit tedious to get through but from the midgame till the end it really feels like a journey. Enjoyed it a lot. Octopath traveler 2 is still my fav but this game comes close! <3
I enjoyed my time playing this game and believed the voice acting along with the music to be amazing!
I was hesitant to play this game because I read that it its a reworked mobile game. However, I was pleasantly surprised by it. I enjoyed every second of my 180h+. The combat is great, you don't need to grind, the freedom to change your skills is somewhat limited, but still really good. I highly recommend this title to people that like JRPGs in general, no just OT games.
