Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

6/10 不怎麼樣,但我還是打了100多小時 劇情時好時壞,最終決戰前的迷宮跑到有點躁 但種種不滿在打最終 boss 時就釋懷了,費盡千辛萬苦就是為了看這個大場面
Entire village burns down. Dozens killed. Mother slaughtered in cold blood.
Protagonist: *nods*

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is basically what i was hoping a port of the cotc gatcha game would be. if you are a fan of pixel art and JRPGs this game will be a sweet candy for you!. can't not wait for team asano's next game!
the soundtrack is a banger like always
The game is kind of basic in graphics, but the real art panels are rather pretty, but it's very much a pixelated 2D game. The artistic style is, in spite of this, not bad and is vaguely reminiscent of Final Fantasy 6, which I like. The lines aren't as clean as I'd like, but they're not terrible. The story so far (as I haven't gotten far in yet), seems interesting, and it has some cute elements and some good overall gameplay. I'm not a fan of the way they did the rebuilding aspect, because it's a bit slower and gatekept in ways I don't enjoy and that don't really make sense to me. I'm also not a fan of some moments in the story which seem kind of dumb, or like they're tragic for the sake of being tragic. It feels contrived, which admittedly all stories are contrived, but they should strive to not be feeling that way. Pointless tragedies don't advance a story, in my opinion, and this story seems to have more than it needs of those. That, however, is a minor complaint. I overall like the game, and consider this game to be a good one, which I'd recommend to anyone who likes games that are in 2D but which are NOT side-scrollers.
It's a fair amount of misery porn, but behind that is a good game. Follow the objectives, skip the cutscenes, and ignore the story, your enjoyment doubles. None of your choices matter, so there's no actual skin in the game. It's a recommendation purely because the gameplay makes up for it. Fire the writers, make the railroad sections clearer, and it's game of the year.
Jogo lindo. Combates excelentes e a construção da cidade encanta e quebra um pouco do ritmo do jogo de forma positiva
非常好玩
100% Review | Perfect #87
Achievements: There are no missables ("The Summoned" is possibly bugged, so look that one up to be safe), no annoying minigames to master, and the superboss is fairly easy to beat. Expect and enjoy a long journey. First thing's first: Ignore anyone who tries to tell you this game is just a "gacha port" of CotC. They are wrong and likely bots/trolls posting engagement bait. Now that what should be obvious is out of the way, onto the game itself. This is a long JRPG about you attempting to rebuild your town, going on adventures, and fighting tyrants. You get to make your own MC in this game and can freely swap between 8 classes. There are a ton of characters to recruit and all of them are unique (meaning that there's no dual-classing in this one) but you get to make a party of 8 characters instead of 4 this time around. Gameplay The battle system is a blast and I never got bored of it throughout the 107 hours clocked on my save file. You're given a lot of freedom with how you want to build your characters and the difficulty isn't that high, so a lot of builds are viable. While the job system only exists for the protagonist, you can equip active and passive skills on other characters to customize them. Everything else that you would expect from an Octopath Traveler game is here. You travel to towns and use path actions to interact with NPCs, explore and fight monsters, and play through story chapters. Level up your characters, learn skills, try to break the game with synergies. If you need something to tide you over until Octopath 3 happens, this game will keep you busy. Story The narrative is entertaining and remains consistently good throughout the game, yet the length of the game may wear on you over time and tempt you to skip cutscenes. This game is not for the impatient; there is a *lot* of story here. If you like reading and listening to dialogue then you'll probably enjoy this as much as I did. I want to say that around 40% of the game is original story and content while the remaining percentage is adapted from Champions of the Continent. The CotC stories range in quality but I found most of them to be enjoyable at the least, and I'm glad that they can be experienced in a single-player RPG instead of trapped on some mediocre phone game that could be taken down at any time. Music Yasunori Nishiki cooked again. The new music in this game is so good that I bought the Octopath Traveler 0 soundtrack CD. There's some old Octopath Traveler music in here as well (like the victory theme and many CotC tracks) that is used where it feels appropriate. If music makes-or-breaks games for you like it does for me, you'll likely find yourself coming back to this game for the music alone. Voice Acting This game's voice cast is massive and because the voice acting is good across the board, I'm giving the voice actors their own section in this review as a thank-you to all of them. I personally loved the performances of Grant George (Phenn), Judy Alice Lee (my MC), and Bill Butts (Bargello). Everyone who recorded their voices for this game did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life! Conclusion This game is fantastic and a welcome addition to the Octopath Traveler series. If you like Octopath Traveler, you'll love this. If you haven't played an Octopath Traveler game yet, this is a good place to start! Keep in mind that this is a very long game, though, so you'll be playing this for a while. Worth every penny.
